Thanksgiving is the most important family holiday in the USA and in Canada. It is celebrated in November in the USA and in October in Canada. They celebrate the harvest and other blessings of the past year with a big feast.

People eat turkey, pumpkin, corn, cranberries and sweet potatoes. There is often a Horn of Plenty on the table. It is full of fruit and vegetables.
