5 Spring Time

The North Pole, 14 December

Dear children,

I am really sorry, but something terrible has happened! There was a snowstorm and Polar Bear was taking your Christmas lists to the elves. As he went out of the door, a strong wind blew all the lists away.

What should we do? Mary Christmas, Polar Bear, all the elves, Rudolph the reindeer and I had a meeting. Mary Christmas, who is very kind and wise said, “Some children get lots of presents and some children get none. We can share all the presents so that everyone gets something.” We all voted, and everyone agreed that it was a good idea.

So, the bad news is that you may not get many presents this year. But the good news is that everyone will get something.

Have a Merry Christmas! Lots of love, Father Christmas Before reading
