GALERIE MICHEL DESCOURS L’ouverture de la galerie de peintures et de dessins Michel Descours en décembre 2009 a couronné 35 années de passion et d’expérience. Connu de longue date comme antiquaire spécialisé dans le mobilier et les objets d’art, Michel Descours avait le désir et l’ambition de créer à Lyon un espace exclusivement dédié à ce qui peut lui sembler le meilleur dans le domaine des beaux-arts. Si la galerie fait aujourd’hui référence en matière d’école lyonnaise, ses intérêts dépassent de beaucoup cette production ; elle propose à sa clientèle privée aussi bien qu’institutionnelle un large choix de peintures et de dessins européens du XVIe au XXe siècle. Michel Descours et son équipe partagent leur passion en conseillant les collectionneurs, en accueillant régulièrement les amateurs pour des événements et en collaborant avec les musées pour des expositions. The opening of the Michel Descours gallery of paintings and drawings in December 2009 was the culmination of a passionate thirty-five-year career. With his reputation as a specialist in antique furniture and objets d’art, Michel Descours’ ambition was to create a space in Lyon devoted exclusively to the very best in the field of fine arts. While the gallery is now considered a leading champion of the Lyon school, Michel Descours’ interests extend far beyond that, and the gallery offers both its private and institutional clients a wide selection of European paintings and drawings from the 16th to the 20th centuries. HABOLDT & CO Marchand de tableaux et dessins anciens de renommée internationale, Bob Haboldt a fondé sa galerie à New York en 1983. En 1990, il choisit Paris pour implanter sa seconde galerie. Il possède aujourd’hui des showrooms à Amsterdam, Paris et New York. La galerie propose un large éventail d’œuvres de grande qualité, des fonds d’or italiens jusqu’au début du XIXe siècle, principalement des écoles nordiques, mais les écoles française, espagnole et italienne sont également représentées. Membre du Syndicat National des Antiquaires, Bob Haboldt a participé au Salon du dessin et à la Biennale des Antiquaires à Paris, à The International Fine Art Fair de New York, à la Mostra dell’Antiquariato de Florence, et expose à la TEFAF de Maastricht depuis plus de 25 ans. A dealer in paintings and drawings with an international reputation, Bob Haboldt founded his gallery in New York in 1983. In 1990, he chose to open his second gallery in Paris. The gallery offers an extensive range of highquality works ranging from the Italian goldgrounds up to works from the early 19th century, primarily from the Northern Schools, but the French, Spanish and Italian Schools are also represented.
