This October, discover immersive art, inspiring films, hilarious comedy and more, as Journey Festival International returns to Leicester city centre.
Throughout the festival, you’ll discover stories of migration and community, uncover new perspectives, and celebrate the rich diversity that makes our city, and our world, a more connected place.
Look out for these quick and easy keyword bubbles throughout the guide—they’ll help you know what to expect along the way so you can find the right activity for you. If you have any questions or specific access requirements, please contact Amelia at hello@artreach.org.uk.
As you wander through the glowing constellation, seven tactile, rock-like forms transform with watery hues and hidden voices, creating an ever-changing soundscape.
Sirens: Songs of Sisterhood is inspired by the views of women in global society, seen through the lens of ancient mythology. This special Leicester edition is shaped by the voices and experiences of a local women’s group.
Originally commissioned by Freedom Festival Arts Trust, funded by Arts Council England and supported by Norwich Arts Centre.
Unfiltered, unexpected and unapologetically funny!
