Himalayan Children’s Fund News
Dear Friends,
As you may know from our social media announcement, all of our Thrangu Family in Nepal are safe and doing well. I am told there is an air of hopefulness as the interim Prime Minster is putting together her cabinet. Let’s join our hopes and prayers with theirs ~ may the country navigate these times well and bring about positive change.
We still need to encourage more sponsorship of nuns, monks and lay students so please share the newsletter with others who may be interested and give us a wonderful review on: Great NonProfits!
With gratitude for your kind support.

SHEDRA NUNS
Before the beginning of yarne, the shedra nuns in Lumbini participated in a one-day academic conference at Lumbini University commemorating the Parinirvana of Gampopa (1079-1153 CE). Designed to provide comprehensive engagement with Gampopa’s scholarly legacy and spiritual significance, presentations were given in English and Tibetan. Support was given by Tulku Damchö along with the donation of specialized texts on Gampopa by Thrangu nuns and monks.
