A family story: one dream, one love, a fairytale
Siamo agli inizi degli anni sessanta, quando Margherita, figlia del medico condotto di Praiano, sposa Giuseppe e si trasferisce in America. Ma il richiamo della terra d’origine trasforma la nostalgia in un desiderio: tornare e offrire ospitalità nell’incantevole cornice della Costa d’Amalfi.
We are at the beginning of the seventies, when Margherita, daughter of Praiano’s town doctor, marries Giuseppe and moves to the United States. But the longing for home transforms her nostalgia into a desire: to go back and offer hospitality in the charming setting of the Amalfi Coast.
Nasce così il ristorante sulla spiaggia di Positano, che li rende presto famosi per il loro sapere gastronomico di lunga tradizione. Ma il sogno di Giuseppe è restaurare la casa di famiglia a Praiano, per farne un albergo.
It is thus that the restaurant on the beach of Positano is born, with a traditional gastronomical know-how that soon makes them famous. But Giuseppe’s dream is to restore the family home of Praiano, to turn it into a hotel.
L’Hotel Margherita nasce come tempio dell’ospitalità: un luogo dove sentirsi come a casa propria ma sollevati dalle incombenze quotidiane.
Hotel Margherita is created as a temple of hospitality: a place where you can feel right at home away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Oggi è Suela, loro figlia, e suo marito Andrea Ferraioli, a proseguire l’opera intrapresa da Giuseppe, una ventata di innovazione garantisce nuovo splendore all’albergo.
Today it is Suela, their daughter, and her husband Andrea Ferraioli, to continue the works undertaken by Giuseppe, a flow of innovation guarantees new splendors to the hotel.
