Siamo agli inizi degli anni sessanta, quando Margherita, figlia del medico condotto di Praiano, sposa Giuseppe e si trasferisce in America.
We are at the beginning of the seventies, when Margherita, daughter of Praiano’s town doctor, married Giuseppe and moved to the United States.
Ma il richiamo della terra d’origine trasforma la nostalgia in un desiderio: tornare e offrire ospitalità nell’incantevole cornice della Costa d’Amalfi.
But the longing for home transformed her nostalgia into a desire: to go back and offer hospitality in the charming setting of the Amalfi Coast.
Dal sogno di Giuseppe di restaurare la casa di famiglia nasce l’Hotel Margherita. Oggi è un tempio dell’ospitalità, un luogo dove sentirsi come a casa propria ma sollevati dalle incombenze quotidiane.
It is thus that the restaurant on the beach of Positano “Beach Bar” was born, with a traditional gastronomical know-how that soon makes them famous. But Giuseppe’s dream was to restore the family tower home of Praiano, to turn into a hotel.
Oggi sono la loro figlia Suela e suo marito Andrea Ferraioli a proseguire l’opera intrapresa da Giuseppe, una ventata di innovazione garantisce nuovo splendore all’albergo.
Hotel Margherita is created as a temple of hospitality: a place where you can feel right at home away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Con loro uno staff giovane e motivato, che unisce alla grande professionalità della tradizione alberghiera di questa terra un calore umano che fa sentire gli ospiti accolti come in famiglia.
Today it is their daughter Suela and her husband Andrea Ferraioli that continue the works undertaken by Giuseppe, a flow of innovation guarantees new splendors to the hotel.
