In Their Own Words: Bankers Talk Professional Development Eagle Bank enjoys a great relationship with Arkansas Bankers Association and actively participates in many of the ABA events and seminars. They strive to offer many different types of educational classes to choose from, and in this ever changing regulatory environment, it is of utmost importance that we receive expert training. I would highly recommend Arkansas Bankers Association for your banking education needs; they are first and foremost for us! Cathey Cox EVP/Chief Lending Officer, Northern Region Eagle Bank & Trust, Heber Springs Arkansas Bankers Association hosts great events that focus on all the departments at our bank. By having live seminars in both Little Rock and NWA, we are able to keep all our branches up to date and educated; and if a department needs additional training, the online courses are exceptional! Personally, I have made several friends and have many contacts I have met, both presenters and peers, that I utilize throughout the year. With most attendees and presenters being local, you get a small town feel at the seminars with BIG benefits. We have used ABA for many years and will continue to do so. Nikki Skinner, SHRM-CP, PHR AVP/Human Resources Farmers & Merchants Bank, Stuttgart I have attended every Leadership Conference since 2008 due to the topics being discussed from experts all across the country. I share this information with management and other associates to help us perform better. It also provides young bankers an opportunity to network with other bankers from across the state and hear how they are dealing with our ever-changing profession.
