The project is designed to welcome a family based on unity and shared spaces, abut also looking for a retreat from the outside.

Emphasizing fluidity in design, the spaces are thoughtfully arranged to facilitate easy movement and navigation, promoting a dynamic and energetic atmosphere within the living space.

The user who seeks serenity is surrounded by the woven fabric of the design, the calming color palettes inspired by Poltrona Frau, natural textures, and peaceful private zones; and also when the family gathers together, they take advantage of the open layouts and communal zones to connect with one another and prioritize social interactions in a sense of community.

The professor requested us to design a product for Poltrona Frau while considering its future use and futuristic materials. So I picked the office chair as the product to focus on.

The possibility of mental fatigue from standing for longer than 3 to 4 hours is what motivates the development of the working chair. So the use of a halfway option like a stool, is the best option. But not only that, you can’t stand and wobble all day, every day. Give your muscles a break with an ergonomic office chair.

Since we are going to work more and more at home with some technologies like virtual and augmented reality, it is not necessary that we be completely seated all the time. So designing a product that changes shape according to the position you want to stay in can be a solution. This way, individuals can switch between sitting and standing positions effortlessly, promoting better posture and reducing the negative effects of prolonged sitting or standing.

Larimar, exclusively found in the Barahona Province of the Dominican Republic and tied to the region's volcanic activity, ranges from white and light blue to green-blue and deep blue, with the most prized pieces reflecting vibrant sky-blue colors with white marbling.

Nature is characterized by its continuous and fluid forms, which are aesthetically pleasing and harmonious with the environment.

By studying and mimicking these forms, we want to create a design that blends seamlessly with their surroundings and evokes a sense of natural beauty.
