Purpose and Expectations
To ensure a respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment for students completing external VET qualifications

90% attendance and punctuality
Sign in/out via Aquinas App Respect for others, safety, and property
Qualification Completion
To receive full qualification, students must:
Complete all theory and practical assessments
Submit all work on time, including resubmissions
Meet attendance and conduct standards
Late starters may follow a revised training plan
Attendance
Sign in/out via Aquinas App
Approved: Camps, retreats, PSA sport, medical with certificate
Unapproved: Holidays, socials, driving lessons, late/unauthorised leave
Frequent lateness = Notice of Concern or Detention
Behaviour Points System
5 points/year
1 point per incident
5 points = removal or alternate placement
2+ incidents/day = Notice of Concern
Repeated behaviour = Detention + loss of Good Standing
Policy Compliance
Warning (verbal or written)
Notice of Concern
After-school or Saturday detention
Loss of Good Standing
(e g no driving, sports)
Withdrawal from course for ongoing non-compliance
All breaches are managed under Aquinas College’s Senior School Code of Conduct and Good Standing Procedures.
