Approved candidates only, online application offered in conjuction with the AOAP Conference & Expo CURRENTLY FULL - INQUIRE WITH RED CROSS ON WAITLIST Location: Carson Aquatic Facility, 841 N Roop St, Carson City, NV Fee: $375 • The purpose of the Water Safety Instructor Trainer candidate course is to: • Build on the training to each candidate received as an American Red Cross instructor. • Prepare instructor trainer candidates to teach Red Cross instructor level courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Program. • Review and expand on the policies and procedures instructor trainers follow to ensure coarse consistency, quality and appropriate reporting area. • Prepare role models for instructor candidates. • Provide the foundation for becoming a certified American Red Cross instructor trainer. To train as a Water Safety Instructor Trainer, potential candidates must meet the specific qualifications and complete an online application.
