Good whenever you're reading this, you bright stars of sunshine!

Thank you all for an AMAZING first year as AOC Key Club! It took a lot of work and tears and frustration to get chartered, but we finally got through it, and it was well worth the effort. I know next year's gonna be a blast now that we're already established, and I'm expecting some great service from our club this term! Until next time!

Hey Uni-Acorns!!! Congrats on completing another year of high school. School can get super busy and stressful sometimes, but having club meetings with you all has been the absolute best :)) Make sure you guys rest, relax, and have fun over the summer! Get ready for another amazing year ahead of us!

Hii Uni-Acorns! I have very many mixed feelings about this month. School's over! But that also means we have to say goodbye to a lot of the amazing seniors :( This was our very first year being chartered and you all made it an amazing :)) Thanks for all the memories y'all, couldn't have gotten this far without you :( l love yaur <3

On May 6th, we had our final meeting of AOC Key Club for the 21-22 academic year. We have come so far from starting the club last September and the whole chartering process. Our member and officer dedication is unmatched, as one of the biggest clubs on campus. To celebrate our HUGE year of success, we planned an end-of-theyear party. It was potluck style, where people brought in their own baked goods, and different food such as chicken nuggets, pizza, and shumai.

Special thanks to members Sher, Noah, Emma, Hallea, Jodie, Jaiden, Ellie, and Nathan for contributing to our potluck, to Mihir and Gwen for helping set up and serve food, And also to our lovely officers Teddy and Hasvita plus our LTG and Shaun for helping with the whole "pizza fiasco".

We had so much fun this past year, and cannot wait to make a lot more memories when we come back in the fall <333

During the last meeting, we also announced our UNI-ACORN OF THE MONTH!!! We are so happy to announce Melanie as our Uni-Acorn of the month of April! Melanie has shown constant participation in all volunteer and bonding events both at the club and divisional levels. Her spirit and energy are clear and felt throughout the club, from helping this past Fall Rally with helping out with the spirit stick to donating whatever she can to events. Congrats to Melanie <3

1. What are your top movie/show recommendations?

My top movie/show recommendations would be the Lincoln lawyer, any marvel or Star Wars movie, the West Wing, and any historical movie.

2. What's something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?

A fun fact that not many people know about me is that I used to take contortion classes and could do a bunch of crazy tricks.

3. Why did you first join Key Club?

I first joined Key Club because Hasvita forced me to, but then I really started to like the environment and all the cool activities we do.

4. What were your favorite division and club events of the term?

My favorite division/club event was definitely Fall Rally because it was really funny to watch people stare at all of us in our crazy outfits.

5. What is your favorite thing about Key club?

My favorite thing about Key Club is probably the people. I feel like I became a lot closer with some of my classmates this year because of Key Club.

MOM-ENTOUS MOM-ENTOUS

On May 7th, our LTG hosted his FIRST DCM of the term, the MOM-entous May DCM! We had the opportunity to engage in icebreakers, make cards for our mothers and hosptialized children and also DLT reveal!!!

Congrats to AOC’s very own Joni Go (Division Secretary), Hasvita Obulapuram (Fundraising Coordinator), Renee Agatep (Social Media Coordinator), and Hallea Pocrass (Website Media Coordinator) for being chosen to serve on this year's division leadership team. Another congratulations to Bianca Gonzales for member of the month for our division as well! Thank you to all the other AOC applicants, we know all of you are extremely qualified and hardworking. There are still TONS of opportunities to be recognized so keep working hard and serving Uni-Acorns <3

ART CREDS: RYAN AGATEP

On May 22nd, our division banquet was held alongside Division 16 South. The CPs, Caleb and Joanna ran the banquet and did a great job! It was a fun-filled night with food, awards, speeches, and music. The whole experience was bittersweet, as we said our goodbyes to the seniors, but welcomed the new generation of our division. As for our club, we got the award of "NEWLY CHARTED CLUB" and our editor, Renee Agatep got "EDITOR OF THE YEAR" for the division. Our club vice president, Teddy Yang, also presented a speech at the banquet, and member Deborah White sang beautifully, as we reminisced on all that we have accomplished this term.

We want to thank each member of our club for being the most amazing, supportive, and spirited group of people at AOC. Here's to the next term, and maybe whoever is reading this will get an award at the next banquet :P
