MOM-ENTOUS MOM-ENTOUS

On May 7th, our LTG hosted his FIRST DCM of the term, the MOM-entous May DCM! We had the opportunity to engage in icebreakers, make cards for our mothers and hosptialized children and also DLT reveal!!!

Congrats to AOC’s very own Joni Go (Division Secretary), Hasvita Obulapuram (Fundraising Coordinator), Renee Agatep (Social Media Coordinator), and Hallea Pocrass (Website Media Coordinator) for being chosen to serve on this year's division leadership team. Another congratulations to Bianca Gonzales for member of the month for our division as well! Thank you to all the other AOC applicants, we know all of you are extremely qualified and hardworking. There are still TONS of opportunities to be recognized so keep working hard and serving Uni-Acorns <3

On May 22nd, our division banquet was held alongside Division 16 South. The CPs, Caleb and Joanna ran the banquet and did a great job! It was a fun-filled night with food, awards, speeches, and music. The whole experience was bittersweet, as we said our goodbyes to the seniors, but welcomed the new generation of our division. As for our club, we got the award of "NEWLY CHARTED CLUB" and our editor, Renee Agatep got "EDITOR OF THE YEAR" for the division. Our club vice president, Teddy Yang, also presented a speech at the banquet, and member Deborah White sang beautifully, as we reminisced on all that we have accomplished this term.

We want to thank each member of our club for being the most amazing, supportive, and spirited group of people at AOC. Here's to the next term, and maybe whoever is reading this will get an award at the next banquet :P
