El invitado a participar en el concurso es Sergio Larraín García-Moreno, quien a su vez invita a Emilio Duhart, Alberto Piwonka y Mario Pérez de Arce al equipo. Tras ganar el primer lugar, comienza inmediatamente el trabajo del proyecto definitivo, que se desarrolla conservando los lineamientos generales del anteproyecto, con el estadio puesto al oriente del conjunto, con un patio abierto hacia el estadio, el oriente y la magnífica vista a la cordillera. El proyecto genera una sólida relación entre los arquitectos y las autoridades del colegio, la cual se prolonga por medio siglo, cada vez con encargos para etapas nuevas o para acondicionamiento de antiguas unidades. Con la muerte o retiro de sus socios originales, Sergio Larraín G-M y Emilio Duhart, Mario Pérez de Arce queda a cargo de los pabellones que completan el conjunto, en colaboración con Alberto Piwonka, hasta su muerte. Los últimos los desarrolla con su oficina particular. 36
