As a red-light district in the 1970s, for Charmaine, Keong Saik Road was also home, where she grew up as the daughter of a brothel operator. In this personal memoir, hear as she recounts the stories of the marginalised, forgotten women of Singapore’s past and their struggles to make life better for themselves and their loved ones. Join us for this tale of love, forgiveness and redemption. Participants will receive a signed copy of the book.
