We all have to understand that beauty is all about self-acceptance and being comfortable in your own skin. We humans come in different shapes and sizes and that's what makes each individual special and unique in their own. We all have our own perspective towards beauty
Many a times we bring a dress home because we saw someone else wearing that dress and when we wear it, we don't like seeing ourselves in the mirror. We feel this way because we all have different body types and not every outfit is designed to suit all sorts of body shapes. Fashion trends changes every now and then and there is no denying that! However, what we need to keep in mind is to look for an outfit that not only does justice to our fashion sense but also compliments our body type. People have different kinds of body types and have a tough time figuring out what category they belong to. In turn, they end up wearing clothes that don’t compliment them. Let me touch upon the basic body types to help you reach a balance between what suits your body combined with your personal taste.
Well, a pear-shaped body can also be called a triangular shaped body. A pear shaped has a waist wider than the bust, the hips are fuller, and arms or shoulders are lighter, and the waistline isn't well defined.
Just keep in mind not to wear something that highlights your thighs and hips more. Instead, opt for clothes that cover up the broader areas and draw attention to the upper body instead.
Choose brighter colors over darker colors like black and brown. Anarkali's and A Line suits, fit and flare skirts, slim pants, long shirt, shirt dresses are an excellent choice for those who have a pear-shaped body Go for Structured blouses to balance a pear-shaped body perfectly well.
As the name suggests, such bodies are not very well defined, and they lack curves. Such body type is also called an athletic body type
When you have a straight body figure, it is totally up to you what body area you want to highlight. If you wish to highlight your bust, wear something that fits your bust perfectly and also cinches up your waist. A corset is a good choice for such body types. Flowy kaftans or gowns with a belt to accentuate the waist and give shape to the hip portion is also a great idea Pastel shades look good on such body types You can choose between A line dresses, wrap around tops and dresses, flared or pleated pants, puffed sleeved upper wear and anything else that adds volume to one of your body parts.

Warren Buffett says one of the biggest mistakes in investing is ‘doing stuff because you can, and not evaluating whether you should.’ What does this really mean?
Most often we see investors coming in hordes when the market rises and does well and accumulating risky stocks. When markets turns down, there is a scramble to get out. A similar situation happens when you need to invest your time to have a meaningful discussion with your financial advisor.
When the investment is done, all the investor is keen to know are there current and past returns. What they forget to look at is the risk associated with it. In a bull or rising market, everyone is willing to take a high risk, even if their risk profile is conservative. Forget being a moderate risk taker!
The situation changes when the market takes a U-turn and becomes bearish or more volatile and the investor’s risk profile gets challenged and that gives them great discomfort. The returns are not there, and, in some cases, there is erosion of principal too. During such times, the investor has all the time to spend on knowing where the investment is, what the risk associated with it, is, and how they can learn more about it. At this point basically, we want to be a learner and just a return seeker.
Having experienced this for over 21 years of my experience in the financial industry, from Sensex at 3000 plus levels to 62,000 plus levels, I believe that the investor Psyche has not changed one bit.
Even the most learned investors make the same mistakes and fall in the trap of the mental biases that we have in our mind. We are over enthusiastic and high-risk takers in a bull market and suddenly become risk averse in a falling or volatile market. The focus is always kept on what is not in our control rather than on what is in our control. Our goals are succumbed to the pressure of our idiosyncrasies and then we want to be mollycoddled for our own biases and mistakes. As Behavioral Finance defies the fact that we are rational and neither is the financial market, we need to focus on the process and that in turn, could lead us to achieve our goals. We must spend enough time in planning our investments and internalizing our goals to be able to have meaningful discussions with our advisor and other stake holders.
Happy investing!

Amongst all the beings on Earth, human being is the only one, who has marched ahead of all. It is because of his ability to learn, unlearn and relearn ; to innovate, create and excel in his chosen path. The best thing is, he takes cues from his own journey, staggered with follies & struggles but overcome the same with single minded approach. No wonder it is their passion and purpose that defines their life.
Anupam Kher, the legendary actor as he is known today, has penned down his own journey'Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly' gives a truthful account of a small town boy, dreaming to be an actor but continuously went on to fail, rather miserably, without any success for years together, inspite of being a trained actor. All his theatrical acumen at National School of Drama, proved futile. So much so his family too gave up hope and suggested him some other vocation. But life has its turns and twist, he left his home abruptly one day, but in a more determined way. He managed to bag his maiden role, in a highly successful production house to be directed by none other than Mahesh Bhatt. But again as the fate would have been, after six months intensive preparation for the role he was shown the red flag. Eventually his outburst with the director, brought him back in the film. The year was 1984, his age was 28 then, his role was of a very old man, the film was 'Saaransh' and became magnum opus in Indian Cinema. He never looked back since then.
The book gives, minutest details as to what goes into the making of a character development in cinematic terms but more as a human being. He never worked for fame but to make an impact through his portrayal. He went on to act in more than 530 films in last 38 years, including Hollywood movies, bagged two National Awards, eight Film Fare Awards, conferred with Padma Shri in 2004, Padma Bhushan in 2016, became Chairman of CBFC ( Central Board of Film Certification under Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and has his own acting school in Mumbai.
The autobiography amply gives glimpses, as to how a person can develop a phenomenal personality, if he stick to his dream, looks at life positive way, has a learning attitude, and above all sees the life itself, as a teacher. The author rightly describes his autobiography - the lessons life taught him unknowingly.
The book divided into six parts and spread over 400 pages, reminds the readers that whatever happens in life, happens with a purpose
I have found the book very engrossing, lucid and a real learning experience. The book highlights how certain phases and situations in life looks difficult, but the very same hold the key to success. Another feature I learned from the book is, that every person in life comes with a purpose. The book is worth a read to carry home some great lessons.
I hear sounds I haven't heard in years...
And see the sights that I haven't beholden for ages...
A beautiful sunrise, setting the skies alight... A colourful palette of pinks, oranges, yellows and crimsons.
A bird chirps carefree, it's wings backlit orange and pink. It flits and hops , trills and swirls before succumbing to its flight and freedom. The trees, all mighty and strong, swaying in all their green majesty are holding court . While the leaves are like impatient courtiers, rustling and having hidden conversations with one another .
So as not to disturb the garden's tranquillity and calm. The grass , a green velvety carpet beneath my feet... Emerald, Jade , parrot and moss greens intermingling like intricate warps and wefts. In the night, the starry skies remind me of a canopy studded with diamonds galore... The silent night is a soothing lullaby, refreshing my senses and lulling me to sleep. There is a dearth of adjectives in my head to express my joy and wonder ..
At this ' mine of natural beauty'
I contemplate about our futile efforts to cram the beauty of nature and life into a photo or a blogpost...
No words or pictures can really capture the thrill of feeling the wind on your face, the grass beneath your feet or the idyllic hum of birds and bees. It is a symphony of nature, orchestrated repeatedly but with an untiring novelty everyday which must be experienced with all senses. As my head touches the pillow, I cocoon myself with my discoveries today and sleep with an expectation of unearthing myriad treasures like these everyday.

People in our lives are like clothes, some are like traditional outfits, and they are always with us.
Some are like fashionable outfits, coming and going until fashion fades.
Some are like simple outfits with whom we can share our deepest feelings at any time.
Some are like clothes that haven't been worn in a long time, similar to those that haven't been in touch with others.
Some are like clothes that have been purchased but never worn, similar to those that are simply added to our friends list.
Some are like clothes we just liked but not yet purchased, similar to those are virtually connected.
Having the right people in your life is just as important as having the right clothes. So, make an informed decision.

It is 9am but time does not exist Lost In Time Lost in your own world It is light or darkness You can’t tell As you don’t feel life It does not exist Only your grieve does Grieve tells you the time The time to feel lonely The time to cry The time to shout You can’t keep out it’s presence It won’t allow you It consumes you It bounds you like a love one
Soon you find comfort it in Happiness is an empty shell Grieve fills your heart Unaware it is eating your heart Eating life away As clouds fade away
You lie in wait Will you live or die Grieve has a say on this So what will it be For as dawn & dusk comes Whether grieve comes and goes It is your grieve to decide
