Anna Piratti has invited several people to overcome embarrassment, incredulity and a sense of disorientation or superiority, to choose an object with which to develop a peer discussion. The protagonists of the artistic experience enter a metaphysical dimension, which transcends the material nature of the object, discovering affinities and a common wavelength, initiating an intimate dialogue on the most disparate and unexpected themes: it is a discussion on irony, on slowness, on gratitude, just to cite a few examples.
Every dialogue has been documented photographically and displayed in a sequence of snapshots, which reproduce, over a period of time, the development and unfolding of this relationship.
DISCORSO ALLA PARI is therefore a production, as well as a set of artistic experiences, and a plurality of voices, brought together through the intuition of the artist and, finally, a work of art experiencing its own gestalt, open to new contributions.
