The characters ‘Tam’ and ‘Isa’ in Still Game have touched the hearts of many, and this evening will give fans a chance to get up close and personal with the actors behind these Craiglang legends. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask the stars anything you ’ ve ever wanted to know about their careers, adding a special interactive, memorable element to the night.
The evening promises to be filled with fun, laughter, and will be a unique opportunity for the audience to delve into the lives of their beloved TV characters. Having entertained audiences for 62 episodes and an incredible 21 years, Mark Cox and Jane McCarry will regale the audience with delightful stories from their time on Still Game and provide insights into their individual careers.
Opening the night is Arwen Marczak, a 12 year old singer songwriter who lives on the stunning Isle of Lewis. Her first songs, “Connecting” and “Round and Round” were created between the ages of ten and twelve with the help of the artist Vegan Queen V.
Steeljoy are west of Scotland based artist Jen O’Brien’s all women and non-binary band with instrumentalists Jenny Tingle, JP Waksman, and Caroline McGregor. A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our recent film poll!
While The Breakfast Club claimed the top spot, unfortunately, we won’t be able to screen it in March as planned — they’re in detention until later in the year for their own 40th anniversary!
But don’t worry! The next favourite, Restless Natives, will take its place. This cult Scottish classic is full of charm, adventure, and an iconic Big Country soundtrack—perfect for a feel-good film night!
