July's Consumer Price Index (CPI) shows prices are continuing to drop, approaching the target two to three per cent band. Optimism is growing, and the spring selling season is expected to be busy, with a significant rise in preliminary property listings.

The property market appears to be emerging from a prolonged ‘holding pattern’ with July and August data seeing a slight increase in listings, indicating the property market is picking up. Many owners who had been hesitant to sell are now getting ready to enter the market

On average, auctions this month have seen 4 5 bidders, with nearly 3 actively participating slightly higher than last month and similar to last year

In August, our team listed five properties, marking the start of what promises to be a busy spring season This reflects growing market confidence, with more sellers coming forward Our office also achieved a strong auction clearance rate of 87.5%, showing solid buyer demand and setting a positive tone for the months ahead.
