Why did I choose UI/UX?
Because of all the aesthetic websites I saw and admired

Real story long
As college students, we don’t know much about the scope of the industry. Since we work with hypothetical projects, we often lack what clients or the end-users desire. Since we are fashion communication students, we are the service providers. We provide our services.
It was very important to explore how I can be useful to people and society. Also since fashion communication offers a wide area of skill development, it is really important to pick one and master it. So to all the future students who might read it. I want to share how i decided to try UI/UX.
I did my summer internship at Dorling Kindersley Publications. From my last internship, I learned about layouts and print media. I learned the skill and it was good. Something important. Moral: Pick your internships wisely. You can not afford to be futile when you could be fruitful. So coming back to 2020. I chose UI/UX because I wanted to “explore”. I wanted to remove the ambiguity I had about the terms as a Fashion communication designer. Plus the life of a graphic designer was getting tough in design studios so I chose to try and learn a new skill. Plus I had a thing for good websites. hmmm, I think websites are more like your identity these days.
I was very thankful that unthinkable chose me since I was a noob. All I knew was aesthetics, alignments, illustration making, and some small tricks here and there. So this story was important before I embark on my small journey of learning, making ugly designs, crying, and doing things.
Since I love writing, I think I will write books in the future that can help people in some way or the other. I consider this graduation document as my second book as I tried my best to be a helpful author in my previous document too. So I hope if any student reads this, he/she can extract something honest from this.
