Learn-To-Skate Day Camp
Speed Skating Walk-on practice sessions Sundays at 4:30 - 6:00 pm Fee: $12. For speed skaters only. Helmet is required. Speed Skating Camp This camp is designed to enhance the basic skills of the beginning and moderate speed skater. The drills that will be introduced will promote the muscle memory development of the skating push used in speed skating. Although the intent for the sport is speed, this will be a more basics-based camp. New skaters are welcome as team membership is not required. Jefferson City Speed Skating Club has various skate sizes available, but speed skates are not required. Camp will be held June 25. Off-ice begins at 8:30 am with camp ending at 3:00 pm. Along with on-ice learn-to-skate classes, children grades 1-6 fall 2017 will participate in a variety of activities to keep them mentally and physically engaged during the week. Camp registration includes after-camp skate 4:00 - 5:30 pm each day and a t-shirt. Please provide your child’s lunch/drink in a small cooler, as refrigeration is not available. Drop-off is 8:00 - 9:00 am. The Camper Information Form must be completed before registering for this camp. Forms can be found online. Registration deadline: one week prior to camp start date Dates

Advanced Figure Skating Camp
Ice Theater Ice Theater combines exciting music and a variety of dance and skating skills to create a vibrant and captivating story on ice. Our Ice Theater players include skaters of many ages and levels who take an active role in costuming, props, and sets as well as backstage coordination. Skaters wanting to participate must have passed ISI Alpha or USFS Basic 2. A technical rehearsal will be held Thursday, August 3, 10:00 am 3:30 pm. Attendance is mandatory August 3-6 for all participants. A public session 4:00 - 6:00 pm is available. Regular rates apply. Ice Dancing Class
Learn-To-Skate Classes All levels are 30 minutes in length with a 15 minute practice. Practice ice time will be detailed on your activity registration receipt.
Intended for skaters in Gamma or higher and interested in Ice Dancing. The first 30 minutes of class will be off-ice warm-up. Tennis shoes must be worn during warm-up.

Capital Classics Synchronized Skating Team Tryouts Tryouts are for teams Radiance and Intensity only. All skaters wishing to audition may download the packet with tryout information at capitalclassics.weebly.com or pick one up at Washington Park Ice Arena. Tryouts will be held on Sunday, July 16. Skaters can sign up 5:00 5:45 pm. Skaters MUST be ready for off-ice warm up at 5:45 pm. Tryout Fee: $20
Learn-To-Play Hockey
Adult Hockey League
Includes skating and shooting/stickhandling instruction with classes at all levels, from beginners to competitive travel team players. Must be at least 3 years of age to participate. NEW! Adults ages 18+ may also register for hockey lessons!
The Washington Park Ice Arena Adult Hockey League will continue with a summer season, open to adults of all skill levels.

Mid-Missouri Tigers The Mid-Missouri Tigers Hockey Club has the ice on Monday and Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings for skill development and scrimmaging. Visit midmotigers.com for more information.
