CAMERON CAVE* (Elliott) Cameron is a stage/film actor and musician based in NYC. Off-Broadway: Swan Lake Rock Opera (Benno), The Waiting (percussion). Regional theater: Magic: The Ballroom Dance Musical (Bob), Big River (Dick), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ira Gershwin). Film: “The Weight” (Jack), “Reverie” (Robert White), “Pink Blood” (Cameron). When he’s not acting, Cameron plays and records with bands and artists around NYC: Caroline Elise (guitar/bass), Zero Views (guitar), Jacob Sins (drum set). BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch. ZOË LAIZ* (Bethany) (she/her) is delighted to be making her debut at Theater For The New City. Select recent credits include The Easiest Thing (Tala) at The Tank, The Daerie Queene (Julie) at Guild Hall of Easthampton, Pride & Prejudice (Jane/Miss DeBourgh) at Actors’ Shakespeare Project. Eight seasons performing with Shakespeare & Company, including As You Like It (Celia), Macbeth (Hecate/ Lady Macduff), and 4000 Miles (Amanda, BTCA Award Nomination). Zoë is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.
JON MCHATTON (Kyle) is grateful to Rori and Lissa for the opportunity. Jon is Originally from Phoenix, AZ and a proud graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music with his BFA in Musical Theatre. He has lived in the NYC area for over 14 years and is a singer , actor, dancer, model, carpenter, and life/ health coach. Past credits include: Broadway: Baritone in Broadways Rocktopia! Regional: Gaston in BATB, Jud in Oklahoma!, Robert in Bridges of Madison County, Ren in Footloose, Zuko in Grease, Bobby Strong in Urinetown!, Fight Captain and Sir Dinadin in the National tour of Camelot, and many more. RORI NOGEE (Angie/Playwright) An actress, composer and writer, Rori is excited to return to TNC after playing Gail Friday in “Who Murdered Love?”
Broadway: Joseph…Dreamcoat. Off-Broadway: Love Quirks, Showgirls, the Musical!, James and the Giant Peach. Carnegie Hall: Journey to America. Favorite regional credits: Spamalot (Lady of the Lake) at North Street Playhouse, Rock of Ages (Regina) at Arizona Bway Theater, Rent (Maureen) at Charleston Music Hall. Rori is also the creator of “Siren’s Den: A Rock Musical,” and a recipient of the City Artist Corps Grant. Her music can be heard in UNC Greensboro’s, “Hear Our Voices: A Song Cycle.” She is currently working on a new folk rock musical, “The Impatiens.” Next up: Rori plays Scarlett in “Where You’ll Find Me.” Thanks to Lissa and TNC for helping to realize this dream, and to her past and current unrequited loves who endlessly inspire her. ANDREW RICCI (Ben) is grateful to have returned to the New York theatre scene after a multi-year hiatus spent in the snowy foothills of Canada. Off-Broadway: Single Rider (The Players Theatre). EVAN FRANK (Set Designer) is thrilled to be working at Theater for the New City for the first time. He got his start in Chicago where he designed for Black Ensemble Theater, Strawdog Theatre Company, Bohemian Theatre Ensemble and Refuge Theatre Project where he was a company member. Recent work includes the Michigan Shakespeare Festival’s 2022 and 2023 seasons (Wilde Award for Macbeth in ‘23), Poolsides with The Pebble Collective and Pride House with TOSOS where he is the resident scenic designer. Upcoming work includes Constellations at The Chain and Romeo and Juliet with Oak Park Festival Theatre. MFA, CMU. efrankdesign.com.
ALEX KASS (Fight Choreographer) is honored for his Off-Off Broadway debut and to be a part of Aftershocks. He has been a Fight Choreographer and Stunt Coordinator for almost a decade; with credits including Stray Cat Theatre’s American Psycho: The Musical, Let the Right One In, as well as Scottsdale Community College’s She Kills Monsters, Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Arizona State University’s Head Over Heels, Ghosteater Theatre Company’s Elektra, Ronin Theatre Company’s Playboy of The Western World, and Tier 5’s Julius Harlem’s Caesar. He loved his experience working with this creative team and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
PETER LEIBOLD VI (Lighting Design) is a lighting and projection designer based in New York City. Peter has worked across the country at theatres including The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, Ford’s Theatre Society, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Andy’s Summer Playhouse, The Spoleto Festival, and many more. Peter won the New Hampshire Theatre Alliance award for Best Lighting for his work with Orange Grove Dance at Andy’s Summer Playhouse and was a finalist for Live Design’s Design Achievement Awards, also for his work with Orange Grove Dance. LISSA MOIRA (Director) (AEA, SAG/AFTRA) Ms. Moira is a multiple award winning playwright, screenwriter, director, actor, lyricist, poet and collage artist. The work closest to her heart is the Dada, Surreal Noir Mystery Musical “Who Murdered Love?” (which played to sold out audiences at TNC in 2023 and garnered fantastic reviews,) for which Ms. Moira wrote the Book, (with co-writer Richard West who composed the music) is the lyricist and contributed to the music. It is Lissa’s and Richard’s intention to work towards moving “Who Murdered Love?” over the next two years. A few other career highlights include: Directing Dean Kostos’s and Paul Kirby’s “The Boy Who Listened To Paintings“ ( Musical Direction, Peter Dizozza) Directing “Bliss Street,” a new Immersive, Indie Rock Musical (envisioned by Rich Brotman, written by Abra Bigham featuring the music of Charlie Sub &Sound Dogs arrangements and Musical Direction by Jonathan Fox Powers)
Lissa was the Director and contributing writer for Robert Sickinger’s “Nicholas Nickleby.” She co-wrote the Screenplay for “Dead Canaries” starring Charles Durning and Dan Lauria. She was Director and Co-writer of “Siren’s Heart,” Marilyn in Purgatory (originating at TNC it ran 14 months Off Broadway) Up next, Lissa Directs Stan Baker’s, “Party Clown of the Rich and Famous” along with several intriguing one acts.

GARA RODA (Intimacy Coordinator) is a multifaceted artist originally from Barcelona and currently based in NYC. She has a diverse background, having worked as a performer in various musicals such as Sister Act, Cabaret, and In The Heights, among others. Over the past decade, she has also served as a movement director and choreographer, contributing to productions in Spain, Switzerland, and the US. With academic accomplishments spanning multiple fields, Gara holds bachelor’s degrees in both Musical Theatre and Translation. She is currently in the final stages of completing her Master’s Degree in Advanced Theatre Studies. “Aftershocks” marks her debut as an Intimacy Coordinator, having successfully completed IDC’s Consent-Forward Artist Program. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Gara serves as the Artistic Director of MyssTic Rooms, an Escape Room experience located in Brooklyn.
EMMA WEINER (Production Stage Manager/Board Op) (she/her) is thrilled to work with Lissa and Theater for the New City again after The Boy Who Listened to Paintings (PSM). Previous works include ASM on Margaret: Shakespeare’s Warrior Queen (Hudson Classical Theater Company), ASM and Props Manager for Titus Andronicus (Barefoot Shakespeare Company), ASM for Sunday in the Park with George (Theater2020), and SM for You’re Gonna Love Tomorrow (Theater2020). She has also been technically involved in other shows such as Off Broadway’s Between the Lines (Lighting/Projections Sub) and Our Brother’s Son (Tech Swing).
