Before beginning any physical activity, coaches need to make sure that players have stretched 4x Balls 6x Cones

1. Place two cones next to each other, 4m apart. These cones will be the two starting points for the activity.

2. Place two cones 10m directly in front of these cones.

3. Place two cones 10m away from the second set of cones at a 45-degree angle.

4. Divide players between the two starting lines.

1. The first player in line will pass to the player at the cone directly in front of him/her.

5. Send one player to each of the other four cones.

2. The player will receive the ball by executing a turn in the direction of the player positioned at the third cones.

6. The balls start with the players at the starting lines.

3. While this is happening, the first player who initially passed the ball will run to replace the turning player at the second cone.

4. The turning player will pass to the player at the third cone and run to replace him/her.

5. The player at the third cone will dribble the ball back to the starting lines and go to the back of the line.

6. Repeat the cycle.

7. Both lines should be operating simultaneously.

1. Create a 20m x 12m pitch using 4 cones and 2 goals.

2. Divide players into two teams.

3. Position teams at opposite goals.

4. Give a ball to the first player in one of the lines.

5. The coach will keep the remaining 3 balls.

6. The team that starts with the ball will be the first attacking team.

1. The first three players for the attacking team enter the pitch with the ball.

7. The team without the ball will be the first defending team.

2. The first two players for the defending team enter the pitch.

3. The attacking team tries to score a goal.

4. The player that shoots or loses the ball to the defending team immediately becomes the new defender.

GOAL MOMENT The Coach could use the opportunity at the end of each drill cycle to discuss whether the team felt that they have experienced conflict in match situations as a team and how they could avoid conflict in the next cycle.

SET-UP 1. Create a 30m x 30m pitch.

2. Create a 3m wide channel along each side-line with cones.

3. Divide players into two even teams.

4. Each team will have a player designated to occupy each channel.

5. Each team will have a player designated to act as a target. player on either side of the goal their team is attacking.

Activity 1. Two teams will compete against each other in a match-like situation.

2. In order for a team to score they must connect with at least one of the extra players (channel or target).

3. Channel players must remain in the channel and can defend against each other.

4. Only channel players are allowed to occupy the channels.

5. Rotate extra players often.
