The object would stimulate the users in terms of audio, touch, motion, and spatial impact all while allowing the user to interact with the heart itself.

FEEL YOUR HEART With the current Covid-19 pandemic, Cardiovascular health has become as important as ever.

"Feel your heart" aims to trigger user's awareness towards their Cardiovascular health through the experience of "walking into" your heart. For an in depth experience. The object would stimulate the users in terms of audio, touch, motion, and spatial impact all while allowing the user to interact with the heart itself.

FEEL YOUR HEARTBEAT

Users can feel heart muscle beating while listening to the heartbeat of different activities as displayed on the screen

Lights are inspired by the form of capilaries

Gears would turn when users cycle lighting the lights up

reflection WEEK 1- WEEK14

reflection If I had to use one word to determine my input on the MLE approach I think that the word would be Teamwork.

Throughout our journey with MLE we had to take every step and make every decision as a team. Be it the brainstorming, designing or execution if anyone of us falls behind we had to make sure that we catch on to it as soon as possible and to get things back on track. This is where I feel the teamwork really needs to work. As it would not be possible for things to work out if everyone only minded their own business and kept the issues to themselves.

Although the journey with MLE was very fruitful, I will still have to admit that it wasn't at all easy on us. Previously when designing, we would only need to get the location and floor plan from the lecturers and work on the interior space itself. But with the MLE we participated from the conception and scheme of the building down to the sourcing and costing of the materials to make sure everything is not only aesthetic but also practical and within budget. I feel like it is quiet a big challenge that we as young designers need to learn to juggle between in order to better produce good designs that serve it's users needs and this is a very good milestone that we have taken.

During my journey with MLE although I had learned a lot but I believe that I would have benefited even more from it if we were able to meet each other face to face to discuss and collaborate. Although we were still able to communicate with each other online but it's undeniable that there would have been much more fruitful and engaging discussions if we were able to meet each other in person.

Overall I am very satisfied with the collaboration with other schools. I was able to better understand the process of designing and executing a design from zero up by participating in the different stages of design. Also through MLE I realized the importance of communication between every member in order to make things work. Without proper communication and teamwork the MLE experience would have never been successful. There were many time where we had to compromise for each other and try over best to work together to ease every step of the process for everyone while trying to understand the scope of work of the other schools Personally I am very satisficed with my experience with MLE as it has definitely exposed me to the many more skills needed to be a good designer and the situations that we will face in our work life early on.

With all that in mind I would definitely recommend the collaboration with other schools to other students. This is because when we enter the work force we will have to collaborate and work with many different people from different fields in order to get our work done. And it is important to have that exposure early on to better understand the responsibility each career need to carry before entering the work force so that we can better carry ourselves and perform when working with others. I believe that the MLE does help boost that awareness and can be very beneficial towards all the students that participates in it.
