INSPIRATION Amanda’s aunt Kim has been a huge inspiration for pursuing this ADA design project. Kim has been quadriplegic since she was 16 years old and has an incredible story and perspective. As part of Amanda’s project, she decided to create a YouTube channel to share her process and progress during the project. She also interviewed her Aunt Kim, who is featured in Video 7 on her YouTube channel.

The interview part of the ADA project and creating bios was a extremely important as it provided a personal aspect and gave each of the 12 people a voice on what it is they have to say in regards to accessibility as it relates to design.
