CELEBRATING THE UNIQUE STORIES THAT DEFINE OUR CLASS OF 2025.
Members of the Class of 2025 were invited to share reflections on their All Saints’ experience. The students featured on the following pages have contributed personal snapshots of their journeys, highlighting the diverse experiences, interests and aspirations that have shaped their time at the College. We thank them for generously sharing their stories.

When I think about my journey at All Saints’ College, what stands out most is how this community gently, consistently and sometimes unexpectedly shaped the person I am becoming.
I arrived at ASC in 2020, unsure of what the future held, but the College gave me the space and encouragement to explore my interests with confidence.
For me, the classroom quickly became a place where ideas turned into possibilities. I took Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist, Physics and English, completing Year 12 Chemistry early in Year 11. Engaging deeply with the sciences sparked a fascination with understanding how the world works, and that curiosity gradually grew into an ambition to pursue Medicine. What made this journey meaningful, though, were the teachers who invested in me and challenged me.
ASC also encouraged me to look beyond the College and explore how I could contribute to the world around me. The environment of trust and support gave me the confidence to write Teenage Champion, a book I never imagined creating in high school. That same environment allowed me to develop the mental health app, Buddy, driven by the belief that young people deserve safe,
accessible support. These experiences taught me that young people can create significant impact when they are supported not just academically, but also personally.
Some of my most meaningful experiences came through service and involvement in school life –especially peer tutoring, representing the College in swimming and soccer, and being an active member of Durack House. More importantly, my experiences at ASC taught me how to live the College values of Empathy, Respect, Integrity and Courage (ERIC), not just talk about them.
Looking forward, I hope to study Medicine at university, and carry with me the mindset ASC helped shape – a mindset grounded in curiosity, service and the belief that change begins with small, genuine actions.
I am proud to be an Old Saint, and I know I will stay connected with the people at ASC who have shaped my life in such meaningful ways, whether through coaching, teaching or community events.
I extend my sincere gratitude to Ms Provis, the Principal, and to all staff and teachers at the College, for their guidance, support and belief in me throughout my journey. ASC has been more than a school to me; it has been the place where my aspirations began to take shape.

I have been a student at All Saints’ College since Year 7, meaning I have spent six years growing, learning and discovering who I am within the ASC community. Over this time, I have been incredibly grateful for the many opportunities I have been given, both inside and outside the classroom.
Highlights of my journey have included cocurricular activities and service. A standout experience was the Cambodia Service Tour in 2024, where we worked with local communities and gained a new perspective on the world. I have also been fortunate to take on several leadership roles during my time at the College, including House Council, Peer Support Leader and Forrest House Captain. Through these roles, I have developed confidence, communication and leadership skills that I know will stay with me long after I leave school.
In Years 11 and 12, I followed a General/VET pathway and completed a Certificate III in Animal Care Services and a Certificate IV in Marine and Environmental Conservation through Health Science Hub. This meant spending Fridays at the Perth and Murdoch campuses, which gave me a taste of tertiary learning and helped prepare me for future study. I was also part of the University of Melbourne’s New Metrics for Success program in Year 12, through which I completed the Australian
Learner Competency Credential. This allowed me to be recognised for skills such as leadership, collaboration and learner agency.
Beyond All Saints’, I plan to take a gap year to work and travel before studying Environmental Science at the University of Western Australia.
What makes the ASC experience so special is the strong sense of community and the genuine care shown by teachers and staff. My relationships with staff have been incredibly supportive, and I will definitely be keeping in touch as I move into my next chapter.
EMMA BAKKERS “
What makes the ASC experience so special is the strong sense of community and the genuine care shown by teachers and staff.

I joined the All Saints’ College community in Year 6 and it feels surreal to now be reflecting on seven years that have shaped so much of who I am.
When I look back, it isn’t just the big milestones (though moments like the Year 12 Retreat and even the Year 7 Christmas Market stay close to my heart), but the quieter ways ASC allowed me to grow. I have developed academically, creatively and personally, forming friendships and skills that I know will continue to flourish well beyond my school years.
ASC has always been a place that embraces individuality, and the teachers and support staff have played a huge role in fostering that. Their dedication and genuine care built the foundation for me to explore my creativity deeply, learning to find art in all aspects of life. The Visual Arts programs run by Ms Crimson and Ms Elscot were especially important, giving me the space to experiment with new techniques, build confidence and push my creative passions further than I imagined.
In Years 11 and 12, I followed an art-focused ATAR pathway studying Design, Visual Art, English and Modern History (because there is truly great
art in history). Teachers like Ms Kirkham and Ms Elscot encouraged me to think critically, trust my instincts and express myself authentically. The encouragement was central to the creation of my textile piece Faith Worn, which was recognised at St George’s Art Cathedral and received the Melville Youth Art Award.

I was also fortunate to be part of the University of Melbourne’s New Metrics for Success program with Mr Langford-Smith. Being assessed in broader, more meaningful ways taught me to value strengths that traditional grading often overlooks, and gave me a deeper confidence in my abilities and developing life skills.
As I embark on future study of History of Art, Curatorial Studies and Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia, I know the curiosity and creative courage ASC nurtured will guide me. My experience at All Saints’ allows me to look back on these years with lasting gratitude and joy.

RAPHIE BENJAMIN

I have been a part of the All Saints’ College community since 2020, beginning my journey in Year 7. Transitioning to All Saints’ was a smooth and exciting journey I enjoyed being part of – I felt so welcomed.
My biggest passion in life is performing. Whether that be singing, dancing or acting, I just love it. When I first saw the Centre for Performing Arts, I could not wait to perform on the stage. All Saints’ has created great learning experiences and opportunities and the Arts department has been amazing. Although I am not very sporty, I have loved competing in group House sports such as carnivals and I love how the community is so welcoming. It has been a privilege to have experienced so many opportunities, allowing me to give everything a go and find what I truly love. I am grateful for the camps and other experiences that have allowed me to challenge myself and push my limits, and the friendships made along the way have been amazing.
My pathway was a little different in Year 12. I completed General studies in English, Mathematics and Dance and ATAR Drama. Alongside this, I completed a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre at Emergent Academy, which meant I was off campus
on Thursdays and Fridays. I thoroughly enjoyed this mixture as it provided me the opportunity to enjoy the creativity and flow of General classes whilst still challenging myself with an ATAR class. My final year of schooling has been the busiest year of my life, but I would not trade my experience for anything. Looking to the future, I would love to expand my knowledge and growth in musical theatre, studying at a performing arts school.
ASC is very different to many schools. I enjoy the support and encouragement of the College and the endless options from which to choose. The teachers are amazing and that’s what makes ASC so special.
I will miss the teachers who have been with me along the way and thank them for their endless support and kindness. Together, we have built a bond that I will cherish. I am grateful for the time I have had at All Saints’ and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Since joining All Saints’ College in Year 5, the last eight years have been nothing short of remarkable with unforgettable memories.
Everything I have learnt and experienced in my time at ASC has shaped who I am today. From the teachers who guided and supported me to the peers who challenged me, laughed with me and stood beside me, each person has played a part in my journey. The lessons, friendships and opportunities I have been given will stay with me long after I leave.
In my final years I chose an ATAR pathway which was a challenge to balance between schoolwork, sports and everything else in my life. The academic pressure was nothing short of what was predicted by teachers, but being surrounded by friends and teachers who genuinely cared made what seemed impossible easily achievable. Now that it’s done, I can look back knowing ASC was just the beginning.
The camps were always a fan favourite. Spending a week with friends out in the wilderness will be the pinnacle of my schooling years. The Year 6 Canberra trip was one of the many spectacular opportunities ASC grants their students. The opportunity to travel to another state and witness new experiences at such a young age made me appreciate this community even more. The entire social aspect that ASC encourages will be missed and I will definitely miss seeing my friends every day.
Some days the nostalgia will hit me harder than expected, however, I will be forever grateful for spending my time at the right place.
“
...being surrounded by friends and teachers who genuinely cared made what seemed impossible easily achievable.
JARRAD FONG

My journey at ASC began in Year 5 in 2018. I still remember walking onto the massive campus for the first time, surrounded by so many students and it was overwhelming at first. Coming from a small local primary school, the scale and energy of ASC felt like a whole new world. But it didn’t take long for me to find my place. I met incredible people, found my circle of friends and, from there, everything started to fall into place.
Over the years, ASC has offered me countless opportunities to grow, explore and challenge myself. Whether it was climbing and abseiling off Bluff Knoll or travelling to France on exchange, each adventure pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me discover new strengths.
Through every challenge I faced at ASC, my friends were my constant source of strength. In this vibrant and supportive community, friendship was everywhere – lifting me up, encouraging me and helping me grow. The unwavering support of those around me made all the difference, guiding me through struggles and celebrating my successes.
Leadership has been a defining part of my journey at ASC, offering me countless opportunities to grow and contribute. From serving as Class Representative, House Councillor and Wellbeing Councillor, to my role as College Captain in Year
12, each position has helped me develop essential life skills like public speaking, organisation and teamwork. These roles allowed me to give back to the community and volunteer in areas I never imagined, deepening my sense of purpose and connection. I am incredibly grateful for these experiences which have shaped how I see the world and the kind of leader I strive to be.
The staff at ASC have been some of my greatest inspirations, constantly encouraging me to push my boundaries and aim higher, not just academically, but personally as well. Their support and belief in my potential played a huge role in helping me secure an early offer to Notre Dame University, where I will be studying Education in 2026. I am incredibly excited to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher and hope to one day inspire others the way ASC staff have inspired me.

Like many of my peers, I started my ASC journey in 2020 as an extremely nervous (and excited) Year 7 student. Looking back, I can now confidently say that that young man had some of the most fulfilling and enjoyable years of growth ahead.
One of the things that makes ASC special is the staff. The way staff foster mutual friendship and respect with students creates a less stressful and authoritarian learning environment, ensuring productivity and positive behaviour.
I am proud to say that my time at ASC has been largely characterised by my involvement in technical theatre and the Arts in general. After joining the technical theatre cocurricular club in Year 8, I quickly discovered my love for performance lighting design. My keen interest caught the eye of one of our Theatre Managers, and for the past five years he has provided me with incredibly specialist training and opportunities. I hope to continue this training in 2026 by studying a course in Production and Design at WAAPA, with the eventual goal of a career in technical theatre.
In Years 11 and 12, I chose to pursue a General/ VET pathway, completing Certificates in Event Management, Hospitality, and Screen and Media. This was a perfect route for me, as it enabled me to gain relevant and useful industry level qualifications, whilst still allowing me time to pursue my interests and be involved with College activities such as the Production and Dance Concert.
Whilst my ASC chapter has now closed, I know that all I have learnt, and the connections I have made, will enable me to start an equally exciting chapter beyond ASC.

All Saints’ College is not just an ordinary school; rather, it is a bridge that connects education and learning to the real world.
I joined the All Saints’ community over a decade ago in 2014, and little did I know then that this would mark the beginning of a journey filled with growth, opportunities and many beautiful memories. Reflecting upon my time at the College, I am astonished to look back at how much I have grown and developed in all aspects of my life, which I credit to the supportive and encouraging environment that has been All Saints’ College.
A wise person once told me, “You’re more likely to regret something you didn’t do than something you’ve done.” This piece of advice has stuck with me throughout my journey at the College, and I have been fortunate enough to have adhered to it, thanks to the vast opportunities the College offers.
I have always had a strong passion for Drama and the performing arts and I will never forget the first lesson of Drama I took in 2018 with Ms Parker, where I had the opportunity to be myself and, most importantly, have fun. I always reflect upon these beloved times and mark this moment as my ‘first leap’ in exploring opportunities. It was the beginning
of the momentum and excitement that has gradually built over my time at ASC and has led me to participate in the Anglicare WA Schools Sleepout, the Teach Learn Grow and Cambodia Service Tours, to perform in numerous College productions, and finally to leadership opportunities culminating in my position as a 2025 College Captain.
For my final year, I undertook an ATAR pathway studying five ATAR Subjects: Accounting & Finance, Drama, Economics, English and Mathematics Applications. Though being content-heavy and challenging at times, I will be forever grateful for the support and guidance the amazing staff at All Saints’ have always offered, and for the fun memories in class my peers which I will always cherish.
As I progress into the next chapter of my life, I keenly await all the opportunities that present themselves. I aspire to study a Bachelor of Commerce and eagerly await to apply all the skills and knowledge that All Saints’ has taught me in a real-world setting.
All Saints’ College will always be a second home to me. I am going to miss all those amazing people I’ve been blessed to have met on my journey. I am beyond grateful to call myself an Old Saint.
All Saints’ College will always be a second home to me.
KANIN HOAR

I have been a part of the All Saints’ College community since 2012, and over these years ASC has become more than just a place of learning – it has become my second home.
What I have valued most throughout my journey is the endless range of opportunities that encouraged me to push myself beyond my limits, whether in the Arts, in leadership roles or through the many academic pathways available. The individual care shown by teachers and staff has been a defining part of my experience. Their constant support allowed me to build confidence, not only in the classroom but also in my pursuits outside of school.
In my final years, I chose to study an ATAR pathway, which enabled me to challenge myself in subjects I connected with. Dance and Economics, in particular, offered me unique perspectives on the world around me. The Dance program at ASC fostered my creativity and allowed me to grow as both a dancer and a leader. I had the privilege of performing an excerpt of Savage choreographed by Daniel Riley with Australian Dance Theatre, as well as Frame of Mind by Scott Elstermann. I also benefitted greatly from workshops with Co3 Contemporary Dance Company and Bangarra Dance Theatre. These invaluable experiences shaped my understanding of contemporary dance and storytelling.
Looking ahead, I plan to begin a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Western Australia. I move forward with confidence, knowing that the skills, resilience and curiosity nurtured at ASC will guide me as I create new opportunities for myself in future study and the workforce.
ASC has been a source of support and belonging, and I will remain deeply appreciative of the community that has shaped who I am today.

CANA JONES

Eight years ago, I stepped into All Saints’ College at the beginning of Year 5. Little did I know, my journey at All Saints’ would help shape me into the person I am today.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had at All Saints’, from the Year 6 Canberra trip to the Teach Learn Grow Service tour in Year 12. I have learnt so many life skills and discovered my love for sport. I enjoyed being part of the Cross Country, Swimming and Athletics Interschool carnivals, where I spent time with friends.
All the teachers at All Saints’ are kind and always strive to help each student be the best version of themselves. I feel incredibly lucky to have built strong relationships with my teachers who have supported me – even when I was away for sport. They always found ways to make my learning experience suitable for me. One of the highlights of my time at All Saints’ was being selected as Durack House Captain in Year 12. I had the chance to work with younger year groups, collaborate with my Head of House and my Co-Captain.
All Saints’ offered me many different classes and activities such as cooking, woodwork, music and outdoor education, along with rock climbing and

surfing. The College not only created a strong sense of community but also provided a variety of pathways for students to explore. Through this, I was able to find my passion. What I will miss most about All Saints’ is the people and the sense of community.
All Saints’ College also gave me the opportunity to try out for the Talent Identification program at the WA Institute of Sport. Through this program, I have represented Western Australia at national races in track cycling, road cycling, cyclocross and triathlons. I was also fortunate to become part of the AusCycling team, representing Australia at World Cup events internationally in cyclocross. If it weren’t for All Saints’ College, I wouldn’t be a professional cyclist racing at the highest level and representing Australia.
In Years 11 and 12, I chose an alternative pathway for university entry. I followed an elite sports pathway with General subjects, along with completing Certificates III and IV in Sport Science through the Health Science Hub. All Saints’ College also supported me in completing my Silver
and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards. I had the honour of being presented with my Gold Award at Government House. Additionally, All Saints’ gave me the opportunity to receive the Australian Learner Competency Credential through the University of Melbourne’s New Metrics for Success program. These qualifications have allowed me to apply to Murdoch University to study a degree in Education in 2026, with support from the university’s Elite Sports scholarship program.
What made All Saints’ special for me was the unwavering support and encouragement I received from all the staff, my teachers and my Principal. The support and opportunities I’ve had at All Saints’ have played a crucial role in shaping my future decisions. I will always maintain a connection with ASC, and I want to thank everyone who has helped me achieve my goals.

I joined All Saints’ College in 2020 as a Year 7 student, not knowing just how much the next five years would shape who I am today. Looking back now, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities, experiences and relationships that have become such a defining part of my journey.
One of the things I have enjoyed most about my time at ASC is the breadth of opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom. Whether it was participating in cocurricular programs in my earlier years, taking part in service experiences such as Teach Learn Grow, or representing the College in various activities, I always found something meaningful to be involved in. A particular highlight was serving as Athletics Captain in Year 12, which gave me the chance to contribute to the College community and develop my leadership skills in a role I truly valued.
In my final year, I chose to study an ATAR pathway with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Specialist, Mathematics Methods and English. I selected these subjects because they aligned with my interest in STEM. Although the workload was challenging, I enjoyed the content and the problem-solving nature of each course, and I am thankful for the support and encouragement I received from my teachers along the way.
Beyond ASC, I hope to continue this path by studying at the University of Western Australia, ideally through the Assured Pathway to the Doctor of Dental Medicine. This has been a long-term goal of mine, and I am excited by the idea of contributing to a field centred on helping others.
What makes ASC special to me is the strong sense of community. My relationships with my teachers have been a huge part of my experience; they have always been approachable, dedicated and willing to help, whether that meant providing academic support or simply checking in during stressful periods of the year. It’s something I’ve genuinely appreciated throughout my time here.
As I step into the next chapter of my life, I will keep in touch with the ASC community. The College has played a significant role in shaping who I am, and I am proud to be part of a network that continues well beyond graduation.

My time at ASC has been more than just school; it has been a collection of knowledge, skills, experiences and friendships that will continue to shape my life.
JETT

Finishing my schooling years and beginning the next chapter of my life feels surreal but I am filled with gratitude for the journey. Being a student at All Saints’ College has been an honour and has prepared me well for what comes next.
Commencing at ASC in Year 11 meant I spent two valuable years here, gaining amazing lifelong friends, unforgettable experiences and essential skills that will support me into the future.
Academically, I began an ATAR pathway, studying Mathematics Applications, Economics, English and Politics and Law. Towards the end of Year 11, after discussing my goals with the College’s Head of Futures and VET and Pathways Coordinator, I decided to deepen my studies through a Certificate IV in Business. This hybrid approach proved incredibly rewarding, giving me insight into both academic learning and the professional world.
One of the most memorable aspects of ASC has been my connections with the teachers. I am a down-to-earth person and I appreciate it when others share the same personality trait –the teachers are no exception. They are highly
knowledgeable in their subjects and they are always willing to have a genuine chat. That is something I value deeply. This bond between my teachers and me is what has made my time at ASC truly special.
Looking ahead, I plan to study Construction Management at Curtin University. While completing my degree, I hope to join the Multiplex Graduate and Cadet Program to further expand my experience in the industry. My time at ASC has been more than just school; it has been a collection of knowledge, skills, experiences and friendships that will continue to shape my life. I look forward to keeping in touch and remaining part of the ASC community for years to come.
