Document Production SD – CD : Drew a complete construction set with the assistance of Project manager. Adjusted building façade and layout in coordination with design teams SketchUp model. Addressed redlines to aid in document production. Worked with waterproofing consultant to provide waterproofing details of below-grade and above-grade concrete structures. Coordinated with interior design consultant for the development of interior spaces. Performed COMcheck to ensure the building is compliant with building energy codes. Referenced IBC to ensure building was compliant and adjusted accordingly. Developed new guestroom types in accordance to TAS standards. Coordinated with Texas Accessibilty Standards consultant to ensure building compliance. Attended weekly client and consultant meetings. Addressed Marriot comments to remain compliant with the brand standard. Addressed city comments prior to permit issuance to ensure appropriate setbacks and site conditions were met. Guided Incramentalism

This project is meant to address the housing crisis in Sau Paulo, Brazil by providing a gridded structure that aids in incramental growth of the neighborhood. On the site, we provide programs that aid in the successfullness of the community in conjunction with its residents. These programs include a community school with age specific educational and technical learning oppurtunities, a community garden, and public retail spaces. Combined with the apartment units, these programs create a flurishing civic center

These 6 blocks are the allotted grids available for purchase by residence. The blocks provide the basic necessary programs need to live. Residents can then buy the pre-fab panels to expand their home in the allocated grid.

AGRISCAPE LOOKS TOWARDS THE FUTURE OF AGRICULTURE AND ARCHITECTURE IN URBAN FARMING. THIS PROJECT HOSTS THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES IN FARMING, SOLAR AND GREEN ENERGY. THE ANIMALS AND PLANTS GROWN IN THIS SKYSCRAPER ARE EITHER SOLD IN THE MARKET OR RESTAURANT OR USED TO CREATE ENERGY THROUGH A CONVERSION OF BIOMASS TO BIO-FUEL. RESIDENTS OF THIS TOWER RECEIVE INCENTIVES TO MAINTAIN THE GREENHOUSE FLOORS. THEORETICALLY, THIS BUILDING WORKS AS A CLOSED SYSTEM AND RUNS INDEPENDENTLY.

AGRISCAPE

Our design focuses on the future of Agriculture, in the aspect of moving towards a new, efficient way to farm. Modern technology aids our design as we look at new techniques in farming; Aquaponics, Hydroponics, and Aeroponics. As well as the traditional greenhouse. In this tower, we use its verticality to capture the sun, to aid our greenhouse growing. Alongside the vertical farming, a research center will be implemented in this design to further our knowledge of new and innovative farming techniques.

With the use of the crops the building produces, markets and restaurants will be implemented as well. Giving the ‘Farm to Table’ experience. This will draw the publics’ eye into the building giving them a way to enhance their knowledge on the technology and innovation this building has to give.
