Several of our team members recently attended the College of Western Idaho (CWI) Opening Doors Benefit Event, where they showed their support for firstgeneration students. The evening included both silent and live auctions, as well as donation opportunities to fund scholarships and expand CWI’s campuses. As a proud sponsor of CWI, Allied is committed to helping create opportunities through higher education that can have a lasting, generational impact on families and the community!

Allied is an annual sponsor of the Boise Chamber Annual Gala. This year’s theme was “Celebrating Community and Creativity.”
“This year’s gala will focus on our members in the local arts community, creating a truly unique experience from previous years,” said Bobbi-Jo Meuleman president and CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber. “We've planned an entertaining and educational evening to highlight the significant, yet often underrecognized, impact that Boise's creative community has on our economy.”
The Chamber’s Annual Gala aims to enrich the local arts community and boost the local economy by supporting the arts, which fosters innovation. Investing in the arts makes the city vibrant and attractive, drawing in businesses and talent and fueling further economic development.

October10th
October 10th is World Mental Health Day, which is intended to create awareness around mental health and remove the stigma that can accompany mental health challenges. Whether or not we personally face these challenges, we can recognize the importance of the issues and be willing to provide support to those who do.
Here are some ways we can observe this day:
Educate Yourself: Learn more about mental health. Read books, articles or watch documentaries that provide insights into different aspects of mental health, mental illnesses, and the importance of mental well-being.
Start Conversations: Initiate open and honest conversations about mental health with friends or family. Encourage discussions that break the stigma. Share your own experience if you feel comfortable doing so.
Attend Mental Health Workshops or Seminars: Many organizations and mental health institutions organize workshops or webinars around World Mental Health Day. These events can provide valuable information and resources.
Practice Self-Care: Focus on your own mental well-being. Engage in activities that relax and rejuvenate you. Self-care is essential for maintaining good mental health. Promote Physical Health: Physical and mental health are closely linked. Engage in physical activities like walking, jogging or yoga to release endorphins and reduce stress.
Support Loved Ones: Reach out to friends or family members who may be struggling with mental health. Offer a listening ear, express your concern, or encourage them to seek professional help if needed.
Reflect and Set Goals: Take some time to reflect on your own mental health goals. What steps can you take to improve your mental well-being? Set realistic goals and make a commitment to work toward them.
