National Fun at Work Day

FUN AT WORK!

We celebrated with pizza across all the branches and Boise added a fun twist with a little game! Whoever spotted the most hidden ladybugs and bees took home a prize and two lucky individuals won prizes as well for finding the elusive gold ladybugs!

SUPERBOWLSQUARES

Super Bowl Squares is an exciting game that anyone can enjoy while watching the

Super Bowl. Players compete by selecting squares on a 10 by 10 grid prior to kickoff of the game. Once all squares have been filled out, numbers from 0-9 are

randomly selected and assigned to the NFC/AFC colored boxes. At the end of each

quarter, these numbers will correspond to the last digit of each team’s score, and if your square lies at the intersection of the numbers, you win that quarter!

In addition, to the above, Allied will throw in two prize packs for each board for both the Half Time and End of Game winners!

Floater Day Policy:

A Day Just For You!

Last year, we observed that many clients did not recognize Juneteenth as a holiday, which created disruptions for us in doing business the day we were closed. After thoughtful consideration, we have decided not to designate Juneteenth as a company holiday moving forward.

Instead, we are introducing an annual FLOATER DAY for each employee to use at their discretion (upon manager approval). This allows for greater flexibility for you to use the day when it is most convenient or meaningful for you. Please note that floater days will not carry over to the next year.

Policy Overview

Effective immediately, all employees will receive one (1) floater day per calendar year upon hire. The floater day is a paid day off that provides employees with additional flexibility for personal needs.

Eligibility & Approval

The floater day is available to all active employees upon their date of hire with the exception of employees classified as “sales” employees. Use of the floater day requires prior manager approval to ensure business needs are met.

Employees must request their floater day in accordance with standard time-off request procedures.

Usage Guidelines

The floater day must be used within the same calendar year it is granted. Unused floater days do not carry over into the next year and will be forfeited if not used.

The floater day is not payable upon termination, resignation, or separation from the company.

Additional Notes

The floater day is separate from vacation, sick leave, or other paid time off (PTO) policies.

Employees cannot substitute the floater day for additional compensation or exchange it for another benefit.

The company reserves the right to modify or terminate this policy at its discretion.

Don’t Stress, Just Rest: Your Sick Day Benefits

Effective January 1, 2025, all employees will receive four (4) sick days per calendar year upon hire. Sick leave provides employees with paid time off for health-related needs, in accordance with the guidelines outlined below.

Eligibility and Approval

All active employees are eligible for sick days upon their date of hire. Employees must notify their manager as soon as possible if they need to take sick leave. Manager approval is required for use of sick days.

Employees must request sick leave in accordance with standard time-off request procedures.

Accrual:

Employees will accrue one (1) eight-hour sick day at the start of each quarter, totaling four (4) eight-hour days per year.

Unused sick leave rolls over each year but is capped at a maximum of five (5) total days.

Usage Guidelines:

Sick leave may be used for personal illness, medical appointments, or to care for an immediate family member.

Payout & Termination:

Unused sick leave is not payable upon termination of employment for any reason.

February 7th is National Wear Red Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease, the leading cause of death for both men and women. By wearing red, we show our support for the fight against heart disease and encourage everyone to learn more about prevention and heart health!

A Helping Hand at the Ronald McDonald House

Their delicious dishes were a hit, spreading warmth, comfort, and a whole lot of flavor to families in need.

Cindi, Kristin, Lisa, & Kenzie brought their Agame to the Ronald McDonald House, cooking up a meal that was nothing short of legendary! On the menu? A crowd-pleasing Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac and Cheese Casserole that had everyone coming back for seconds and they served up a sweet surprise—Cinnamon Toast Crunch bites for dessert!
