PUERTO RICO HURRICANE UPDATE: YABUCOA, BARRANQUITAS & TOA BAJA (JANUARY 2019) CURRENT ACTIVITIES (RECOVERY PHASE) After publicly commiting to continue working in Puerto Rico through September 2019, our relief efforts in Yabucoa are still going strong. Here is what we have been up to recently: ● Concrete roof repairs, roof sealing and critical repair of windows and doors ● Baseball field and playground revitalization ● Continued response work (mucking, gutting and sanitizing) ● After over 66,712 combined volunteer hours, programs wrapped up in Barranquitas (December 21st) and Toa Baja (January 7th).
