ALLEN CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

Voters will elect Allen City Councilmembers for Council Places 1, 3 and 5 during the May 1 General Election. Here’s what to expect when you cast your ballot.

WHO IS ON MY BALLOT? Allen Councilmembers are elected at-large, meaning they represent the entire City and not specific districts. If you’re a registered voter with an Allen address, you may vote in all three council races.

WHERE ARE THE (REP)s AND (DEM)s?

Allen City Council elections are non-partisan, so no party affiliations will be listed on the ballot.

WHERE CAN I VOTE? Allen voters can cast their ballot at any Collin County polling location. In Allen, the Allen Municipal Court Facility (301 Century Parkway) and Allen ISD Service Center (1451 North Watters Road) will be open for early voting and on election day.

BE A V.I.P. WITH ALLEN’S

VIRTUAL INSPECTION PROGRAM If you’re doing home renovations, the process of scheduling some inspections is getting easier. Allen’s Community Development Department will soon offer a Virtual Inspection Program for some common projects, such as porches, water heaters, gas line installations and other small jobs. With virtual inspections, users join the inspection from a mobile device, then answer questions as inspectors capture images and take notes Permits and inspections ensure the safety of our community by resolving potential issues during the construction process.
