We can’t possibly know what you’re thinking and feeling right now (and we won’t pretend to), but we hope you feel the love and warmth that we have for you as you’re making this brave and loving decision for your baby.
Please know that we are here to support you with care and compassion through every step of this journey. We would love the opportunity to meet you, but no matter what, we wish you peace and clarity as you make the best decision for you and your baby.

Our story
DENTAL
SCHOOL
In 2013, Marcus and I met in the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at The Dental College of Georgia. During the first few years of school, we were focused on our studies and not interested in dating.
FALLING IN LOVE
As dental school went on, our friend circles grew closer, and we began spending more time together outside of school. We quickly realized how much we enjoyed hanging out whether we were kayaking, hiking, or trying out a new restaurant.
TOGETHER FOREVER
In 2017, we graduated, and I followed Marcus back to his hometown where we are both practicing dentists. We got married in October of 2019 and have been settled in our forever home for about six years now. We have room in our hearts and our home to share with a little one and can't wait to see where our adoption journey takes us!
Why adoption?
WE'VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF GROWING A FAMILY TOGETHER.
Nearly thirteen years ago, I (Kim) learned that carrying a pregnancy would not be safe for me. While this news was difficult to hear, it never changed our deep desire to become parents. After much reflection, Marcus and I wholeheartedly believe that adoption is the path meant for us.
As much as we love the life we’ve built together—with just the two of us and our three wonderful dogs—our hearts are ready to grow. More than anything, we dream of sharing our love, laughter, and adventures with a child. Family isn’t just about biology—love is what truly makes a family!

KIM IS LOVE, SAFETY, SECURITY, AND HAS A KIND OF UNWAVERING CARE THAT IS TRULY RARE.
I have always known love and support from my family, but Kim gives something even deeper—an unconditional love that sees the best in people and lifts them up.
One thing I know for certain is that if we are given the gift of raising a child, Kim will give her whole heart to parenthood. She is the most determined, loving, and selfless person I have ever met. No matter what, she leads with kindness, patience, and understanding. I feel so grateful to be her partner, and I know our future child will grow up surrounded by the same warmth, love, and unwavering support she gives so freely.

OCCUPATION: Dentist - My passion is using Botox to treat patients with chronic headaches, jaw tension and neck pain.
CHILDCARE PLANS: Kim works 3 days/week and will be home to care for the baby on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our retired mothers are thrilled to help and will spend time with the baby on Thursdays and Fridays.
THINGS KIM LOVES: Exercising outside (walking/hiking) • Cooking • Pilates • Hosting gatherings at her house • Relaxing at the beach or lake
meet Marcus FROM KIM
MARCUS IS KIND, HARDWORKING, GENEROUS, AND HILARIOUS.
From the very beginning, what drew me to him was his kind and gentle nature. No matter what life brings—whether moments of joy or challenges—he is always by my side without hesitation. His love for family is at the core of who he is, and it brings me so much joy to watch him play with my niece, nephew, cousins, and friends’ children.
One of the things I adore most about Marcus is his ability to embrace life with a playful spirit. When the moment is right, he can be a kid at heart, making everyone around him smile. Children naturally gravitate toward him because of his fun-loving personality, and I know without a doubt that he will be an incredible father. I can’t wait to see him step into that role and share all the love, laughter, and warmth that make him so special.

CHILDCARE PLANS: Marcus works 4 days/week and will be home to care for the baby on Wednesdays. Our retired mothers are thrilled to help and will spend time with the baby on Thursdays and Fridays.

Our home
WHEN WE CHOSE OUR FOREVER HOME SIX YEARS AGO, WE DID SO WITH OUR FUTURE FAMILY IN MIND.
We wanted a place where we could grow, create lasting memories, and provide a warm and loving environment for a child. Our home sits in a quiet, kid-friendly subdivision with about twenty homes, offering both a close-knit community and plenty of space to play and explore.
We absolutely can't wait to share our home with a child. Built in 2018, our house has four bedrooms, a spacious game room, and an open-concept design that’s perfect for bringing family and friends together. We have a room picked out and ready to go as soon as we need a nursery. With nearly an acre of outdoor space, there’s plenty of room for running, playing, and making childhood memories—whether it’s chasing fireflies on summer nights or building snowmen in the winter. Our home is also filled with love from our three amazing dogs: Georgia, Bailey, and Ellie Mae.

WE HAVE THREE LOVING DOGS THAT FILL OUR HOUSE WITH ENERGY AND FUN. THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHILDREN AND ARE EXCITED TO GROW OUR FAMILY.
Georgia (French Bulldog)
Georgia is our little firecracker who only weighs 20 pounds, but she is certainly in charge! She loves early morning and late night snuggles and can't wait to have a little one to follow around the house!
Bailey (Chocolate Lab)
Bailey is our outdoor enthusiast especially when it involves water. She is very fond of food which will make her a perfect mobile vacuum/mop to pick up all the food the little one drops.
Ellie Mae (American Staffordshire Terrier mix)
Ellie Mae is our docile, fan favorite! Everyone who visits us falls in love with her. She will gently cuddle up to anyone and loves her ears rubbed.

BOTH OF OUR PARENTS HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR FORTY YEARS, SERVING AS WONDERFUL ROLE MODELS OF LOVE, COMMITMENT, AND FAMILY. WE KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT THEY WILL BE INCREDIBLE GRANDPARENTS.
Beyond teaching us the value of hard work, our parents also showed us the importance of balance—making time for fun, relaxation, and adventure. Whether it was family vacations, weekend traditions, or simple moments of laughter, they reminded us that joy is just as important as responsibility. We know they will bring this same warmth, wisdom, and love into their role as grandparents, creating a beautiful and nurturing environment for our future child.
Our parents instilled in us the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of following our dreams, even in difficult times. Their support has shaped us into the people we are today, and we deeply appreciate the role they played in our lives. Because of their example, we understand how much parental guidance influences a child’s growth and confidence. We hope to carry forward many of the same loving parenting approaches they showed us.

Our travels
Experiencing new places and traveling together means so much to us. Some of our favorite destinations so far have been Costa Rica, Jackson Hole, and Scotland. We can’t wait to share our adventures with our little one and create new memories as a family!

Extended family
FAMILY IS AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO! WE ARE BOTH ONE OF THREE SIBLINGS AND LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH THEM—ALL OF WHOM LIVE IN THE ATLANTA AREA.
Marcus' family: Marcus has a large and loving extended family, and we get together as often as we can. Many of his aunts, uncles, and cousins live nearby, while others visit throughout the year from Florida and Colorado. His grandparents make a special trip each year from Tucson, Arizona.
Kim's family: Kim’s parents and grandmother live just 15 minutes away, making it easy to see them often. Kim’s older sister has two young children (7 and 4) who are beyond excited to welcome a new baby cousin into the family! She comes from a large and close-knit extended family, as you can see from our photos! Some of her cousins and relatives live nearby in Atlanta, while others visit a few times a year from New York and Florida. We also make it a priority to gather for a big family trip each year—our last one was to Cancun!
