Our story
HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS
We met and started dating in high school in GA. We’ve been best friends and partners ever since. In 2016, we got married in front of our closest friends and family and soon moved to Seattle and then on to Atlanta for a few years.
LIFE TOGETHER
Now, we live in Monroe, GA, a cute town with great parks and schools. In our free time, we enjoy traveling, watching just about any sport, and browsing antique stores. We hope to travel even more with our pending EU dual-citizenship, which will extend to our kids.
We both work from home. Between grandma's who live very close, great local pre-schools, and our flexible schedules, we look forward to giving your baby a good balance of time at home and socialization with other children and trusted adults.
WHY ADOPTION?
We have talked about wanting to adopt for years, even when we were just college kids and far before we were ready to have children. We have many people in our lives who have been adopted or have adopted, and seeing how it has enriched them and their families has really encouraged us to start the process.
meet Noel FROM CALEB
NOEL HAS AN INCREDIBLE CAPACITY TO LOVE AND CARE FOR THOSE SHE HOLDS DEAREST.
Knowing Noel since we were teenagers and becoming adults together - I have been continually amazed by her ability to love through the good times and bad. Whether it’s her family or mine - she is always there to support and love in any way that she can. There has never been a single second since I met her that I have imagined what a life would be like without her in it. Noel is a Manager at a large software company. She is incredibly lucky to get 6.5 months of maternity leave to bond with future children, biological or adopted!
Since we first started planning our life together, I have always known that whether our children were biological or adopted, Noel would be an amazing mother. I could not be more thankful to be on this journey with a partner like Noel at my side, someone who makes me want to be the best version of myself day in and day out.
meet Caleb
FROM NOEL
CALEB IS MY FAVORITE PERSON IN THE WORLD.
He is my best friend, my partner, and my biggest supporter. He is kind, emotionally intelligent, loving, and authentically himself. I don’t think anyone who knows Caleb doesn’t rank him super high on their “Best People I Know” list. He cares deeply and is always looking to love the people around him better. I can’t wait to watch him show our children how to be yourself with no compromise, how to overcome self-doubt, and to not let life pass you by. Caleb is a Specialist at an email marketing company. He gets 4 months leave and plans to likely split it – taking 2 months when we bring baby home and 2 months when I return to work.
I knew Caleb would be a great father very soon after we met when he was just 16 and I have never questioned this in the 13 years since. I believe Caleb will be the most truly caring and least self-focused father because this is who he is as a man, husband, son, brother, and friend.
Our home
WE WERE PROUD TO PURCHASE OUR HOME IN APRIL 2022.
When we first saw it, we loved the way it sat up on a little hill, and since we both grew up in a white house, we loved that it was white. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a house a home! We immediately knew the 3rd bed room, right next to the primary bedroom, would be perfect for a nursery since it is at the back of the house and is quiet, cozy, and perfect for afternoon naps. We’ve been hoping to bring a baby home to that room since we moved in! also have a great fenced backyard for our dogs and children to play. Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet since the neighbors are primarily retirees and families with young children, and is gated.
