The words “Thank You” are not enough to express our gratitude, but we wanted to thank you for taking the time to look through our profile today. We understand that the decision you are considering is equally courageous as it is challenging. It is our hope this snapshot of our story will bring you comfort as you move through this process.
We have been living in Los Angeles for the last 12 years and are proud parents to our sweet son Kai, born May 2023. Adoption has always been near and dear to our hearts, as Brian himself was adopted as a newborn.
We know we can’t possibly express everything about us in a small book, but hope it portrays the unconditional love and joy your baby would receive from us, as well as our extended family and friends. We love family more than anything and are hopeful to add another child into our lives.

Our story
WE MET 10 YEARS AGO WHEN A MUTUAL FRIEND SET US UP!
Our bond grew stronger as we shared many late-night chats, traveled around the world, laughed at inside jokes, and welcomed our beloved dog Noodles (our first “child”)! Six years later, in 2020 we got married in a small ceremony - not even a pandemic could stop us from saying “I Do”!
OUR JOURNEY TO
ADOPTION:
Brian himself is adopted, which in part led us to adoption. He is so thankful that his birth mother made the difficult decision that led him to many wonderful life opportunities and experiences. Because Brian was adopted, he has the unique ability to help guide our future children through their emotions and experiences. We understand that adoption is incredibly complex on all sides, but have also been able to witness the beauty of it within our own family.
Rhea had complications in our pregnancy with Kai, and we didn’t want to risk a second pregnancy. We knew in our hearts that we always wanted to have two children - siblings who can grow up together and be close to one another. Your bravery gives us the opportunity to build our family.

One of the many reasons I fell in love with Brian is his sense of humor. No matter what’s going on in our lives, I can always count on him to put a smile on my face or make Kai laugh. Family is a core value in his life and every day, he calls his parents and his siblings to check in. Brian works in music technology and works from home most days, allowing him to be flexible to spend extra time with us throughout the day!
Brian shows up for me and Kai every single day. Whether it’s waking up early to surprise us with pancakes or building an amazing backyard for our son and his friends to play in, his thoughtfulness is what makes him an incredible partner and father.
Meet Rhea

When I first met Rhea, I was immediately drawn to her friendly nature, witty humor, and nerdy mind. She isn’t afraid to be silly and goofy with me, and I can always be myself around her. As I grew to know her more, I saw how hard-working, passionate, and loyal she is to everyone around her. She always goes above and beyond to help people. She is the best Mom to Kai and is always singing, playing, and laughing with him.
Rhea works in music publishing and has the flexibility of working from home or at an office only 10 minutes from our house. Rhea has a large group of friends who all adore her and an even larger family who have embraced me as their own. They are proud to celebrate their Indian culture, and it is so fun to share in the music, food, and bright clothing. We are definitely the definition of a blended family, with strong core values of supporting each other, being kind to all, and loving deeply.

our son Kai
Kai was born in May 2023. He loves running around, playing with balls and cars, and splashing around in his water table in our backyard. Kai is so happy, sweet, social, mischievous, and cuddly. Every time we take him out, he loves to smile and wave “hello” to every single person he passes by! He is a very curious boy, and we love to expand his world with art projects, puzzles, and lots of books and activities.
We are always listening to music in our house, and Kai loves to dance and sing! He adores our dog Noodles and can follow her around the house for hours. He loves sharing his food and snacks with her (especially when we’re not looking)!

Home sweet Home
We purchased our 4-bedroom, 5-bath home four years ago! We live 30 minutes from Rhea’s parents and 4 hours from Brian’s parents - they both visit often! Our home is warm and inviting, and we love hosting dinners and game nights. We love decorating for the holidays. We have a big backyard with a pool and a large grassy area where kids can safely run around. We pick avocados, oranges, and figs right off the trees in our yard!
Our neighborhood is family-friendly, safe, and extremely walkable. Just up the street from us is a community park with a large playground, tennis courts, soccer/baseball fields, and a community center. We know a lot of our neighbors, and most of them have young kids. The school district here is top-notch as well.

We have a big family who love to come together often. We spend every holiday together, and our time is always filled with belly-laughs, lots of food, and fun games!
MUSIC:
We first bonded over our shared love of music, something that is both our passion and lucky enough to be our jobs. Music is always playing or being played in our home!
TRAVEL:
Whether driving in a campervan around Iceland, hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, seeing the pyramids in Egypt, or just taking a weekend drive to Santa Barbara - we love to travel!
TRADITIONS:
Cooking and eating dinner together every night.

Decorating for all the holidays!
Hosting Thanksgiving/ Friendsgiving every year.
Secret Santa every Christmas with all of our family.
