Ashley and Jordan

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family. As the parents of two beautiful, happy children, we are thrilled at the thought of expanding our family again. Our home is one full of laughter, warmth, and love – and a lot of dance parties! If you choose us, we are ready to give your baby lots of adventures, a strong education, and all the love and support for a happy and successful life.

We would love to learn about your desires for your baby, and welcome an open adoption with letters, photos, and visits at your comfort level.

We met while we were both living in North Carolina, and 11 years later our journey has brought us to Georgia. We are both college graduates — Ashley is a senior manager for a major healthcare company and has the luxury of working from home, while Jordan works in sales. We were married in 2014 and feel so lucky for our happy life.

We enjoy spending weekends around our neighborhood, frequently grilling in our backyard, playing at the pool and hiking on local trails. We are an active family who love an adventure — whether it’s visiting friends and family, or exploring somewhere new!

We are great partners and share our parenting and household responsibilities. Jordan will go to ballet one weekend and Ashley will be cheering on the sidelines at soccer. Ashley will be planting flowers with the kids, while Jordan is cleaning the house.

We are partners who build each other up and give each other the space to be the best parents we can be. We feel so lucky to be in this happy, exciting life together!

Family man, doting husband, sports enthusiast — these are just some words that describe my husband. Jordan is not only the most loyal and devoted man I know, but also the most fun — he makes me burst into laughter in the most unlikely of moments! Jordan is one of the lucky few who has a job that he loves — selling fire safetyproducts. We are lucky that he works from home and is able to spend extra time with the family.

Jordan is a hands-on dad — he makes the children a hot breakfast every morning, and is our children’s go-to for story telling and races through the yard. He is the best partner, and I am so lucky to have him as my co-parent.

Ashley is the most loving, thoughtful, and caring person I have ever known -most nurturing mother! We all adore the life she creates daily for our family. She is a fabulous cook and has created a beautiful home for us, but most of all I love her independent spirit.

Ashley makes me laugh without trying — with her natural quirks and wit — and her visionary spirit consistently challenges me to be thinking ahead. Ash never forgets anyone’s birthday or anniversary, and she mails more letters and cards than anyone I know in this age of social media.

We have two beautiful children, Jane (adopted, born March 2018) and Henry (biological. born March 2020) – both born in Pennsylvania.

We arrived at the hospital to be with our Jane hours after she was born. Her birth mother is one of the most special people in our life. We have an open adoption and Jane has framed photos of her birth family in her room. We even tell her adoption story as part of our bedtime routine each night!

We let Jane's birth mother take the lead in how much communication we all have and hope to plan a visit soon.

Jane is smart, funny, athletic, and the best big sister. She loves ballet and swimming and make-believe. Jane brings more joy to our life than we knew was possible!

Henry is lovingly called “Hank the Tank” as he is our big boy. He is always happy and loves playing ball and cuddling. He loves sports, ngle animals, and having friends over. He is a ry social little guy.

But most of all, Henry loves his sister. Henry ns to "Sissy" each morning to greet her with a od morning hug. They are inseparable, and we cannot wait to see our two little ones with a w sibling. They will be the best big sister and rother!

Ashley is the oldest of five siblings who are all very close. Her parents alternate time between a house at the beach and a house a few minutes away from our family to maximize grandchildren time. We just welcomed our first nephew, Liam, into our family, too! Jane and Henry love their little cousin.

Ashley has four brothers, John, Jake, Mikey and Trevon. Mikey and Trevon's own views of being raised through transracial adoption have helped guide us on our journey. Their experiences and close connection to our children enhance our lives in every way.

When we are all together you will hear from a mile away - you have never seen a dinner table that is more filled with conversation and laughter!

Jordan has two younger sisters who are wonderful aunts. His family lives only a car ride away, making frequent weekend trips down to visit. The grandparents also live in lovely towns in North Carolina, with ponds and gardens that the children love exploring.

Kaelyn and Hailey are the fun aunts always armed with make-up and nail polish to make Jane's "girls nights" the best! Jordan's mom makes a famous Brunswick stew that we look forward to enjoying while we watch football games each fall!

We alternate holidays with both of our families, which are full of love and traditions. With all the aunts and uncles and grandparents, our big families offer a lot of playmates. But, the children always find a way to steal the show!

Our neighborhood is a tight knit community, filled with children playing and laughing. We live on a cul-de-sac, which is perfect for scooter races with the neighb bike riding.

We are close to all the amazing things that our city has to offer - sports, museums, aquarium and zoo. We have a walkable community with a neighborhood pool and the biggest 4th of July parade in the state is right outside our front door!

Our house has a big backyard with a playset and a basketball pad and hoop that we play on nonstop. We have five bedrooms, so one for each of our current and future children and a guestroom so family can always come for an easy visit.

Our dogs, Oliver and Piper, are the sweetest. They love cuddling with Jane and Henry.

Our home is clean and tidy with room for more!

Balance is super important to us too! We love to be on the go at sports, play dates, dance, and travel... BUT we also love a "house day" or any other style of family relaxation. We think these are just as important to our children's development and we spend the days on walks, baking cookies, or cozying up with some good books and just enjoying each other.

Some of our favorite traditions are Friday movie and popcorn night with dad and making Sunday breakfast with mom!

Jane's race and identity is of utmost importance in our life. We are lucky that two of her uncles are African American men who were also adopted - but we know that's not enough. We have moved and changed our day to day structure to ensure that our children's life is filled with diversity. Between school, church, sports, dance and doctors we are committed to ensuring our children see mentors who look like them.

When we have our third child, we will continue to prioritize this in our life!

Should you choose us, we promise that your child will be loved unconditionally. Your child will be raised with a strong education, pride in who they are, and encouraged to explore their talents and passions at every opportunity. Your child will grow up in an active community, and a loving family. Your child will always know their adoption story and how much you love them. We are open to letters, pictures, and visits, and we would like to do what feels most comfortable for you.
