ERIC AND SHONDA

Dear B
First an import aying for you as you, too, go a o g t s jou ey to a ds adopt o . e do t o e act y hat led you to this decision, but we know that behind it is the heart behind someone who truly wants the best for their child. So, you’re already a great parent by that desire alone.
We are committed to providing a safe, stable, and happy home for our future child. Like you, we only want the best for them. We want to nurture and raise them into God-loving, caring, and kind human beings. We want to support and encourage their hopes and dreams, showing them that anything is possible with God! So, we thank you in advance for considering us for this beautiful and God-ordained opportunity to become parents.
Sincerely,
EricandShonda
Since 2010/2011, we’ve been trying to have a baby the “traditional,” natural way. Over the years, we’ve endured a plethora of testing and procedures. After multiple results and diagnoses, we realized that growing our family this way may not be as realistic for us. Although IVF was suggested as an option, we knew that wasn’t necessarily the way we wanted to go.
So, for the last few years, we started proactively discussing and researching adoption. We took our time understanding that this would be a significant process and would require authenticity, a genuine heart, perseverance, time, focus, and a whole lot of love. Thanks to divine timing and provision, we believe there’s no better time than the present to pursue this beautiful journey, grow our family, while sharing all our love with a beautiful child.
Hi! I was born in a small town but grew up in Atlanta I’m friendly, athletic, analytical, and I enjoy sports and music I was raised by two loving and supportive parents who instilled in me the importance of discipline and education. I’m an only child but grew up with a large family on my father and mother’s side. I played sports throughout my life and always did well in school. I’m living a f l lif ith wife the life I always
Hey! I’m a small town girl who always had big city dreams. I consider myself a creative and I’m fairly adventurous. I was raised in a single parent home and my mom was the BEST! She always supported me and encouraged me no matter what “crazy” ideas I came up with. I also lived close to my grandparents growing up, so they helped raise me too and I’m so grateful I have an older brother and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews Growing up, I danced, played in the band, and always made good grades. I can honestly say that I’m living the life I used to dream about as a little girl, and I have so much to be grateful for. “Gratitude is the attitude.”
ic is hands down one of if not the best things that’s er happened to me! We have shared so many highs gether, and most importantly, he has been a light and s stood by me during some of my darkest days. He is ne of the most supportive, protective, optimistic, and ositive humans I know. He never worries about ything. He is loyal and he truly prioritizes family. Since irst met him 17 years ago, I knew how important family as to him and the same is true today I don’t have to uestion if he’ll be a great father because his enthusiasm, ssion, and focus during this adoption process has own me just how invested and committed he is to ing the best father he can be. I am already blessed to ll him my husband and I know our future child will be essed to call him dad.
Shonda is the sweetest and kindest person I have ever met. She has been a positive light in my life since we met 17 years ago. Shonda is loving, intelligent, caring, and driven. She loves family and always puts others before herself. She is a nurturer. Shonda makes our house a home and creates a space full of love and peace. She will be a great mother because of her creative, loving, protective, and supportive personality She exhibits love in all that she does and I know our child will learn so much from Shonda I’m blessed to have Shonda as my wife and look forward to raising a child together
We live in a beautiful, safe, peaceful, and thriving neighborhood. We’re 5 minutes away from a beautiful large park complete with a playground for all ages and walking trail. There are plenty of events in our town and around the neighborhood. Peace in our home is very important to us.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and we acknowledge that all that we are blessed with all that we have because of Him. We have faith in good times and tough times. Our church has a beautiful ministry that caters to children. We’ve been members since around 2006 and Eric was baptized there..
We believe family isn’t only limited by blood; rather it’s those who God chooses and those we choose. Eric comes from a huge family on both sides and my family is a bit smaller on my mom’s side, but we value and love spending time with our family.
One thing about Eric and I is that we LOVE to have fun and we love celebrating love. We make it a point to have date nights, have photo shoots, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and travel to new places. We’re not perfect, but we’re perfect for each other. We’re so excited about the opportunity to do life together with a new addition to our family.
