Geography A Level

Overview “Geography is the subject that holds the key to our future” . Michael Palin

Geography is a facilitating subject for university entry. At All Hallows we complete the optional topics of coasts, regenerating places and migration sovereignty and identity. All Hallows Geography outcomes have put the students in the top 2% of progress nationally since 2018. GEOGRAPHERS CAN:

Make a concise report Handle data Ask questions and find the answers Make decisions about an issue Analyse material Manage themselves Solve problems

GEOGRAPHERS ARE:

Good communicators Socially and environmentally aware Problem solvers Good team players Computer literate Well rounded, flexible thinkers Independent thinkers

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grades 9-4, including English Language and Geography Grade 5 in Geography is preferable. Students with a grade 4 will be considered

Fieldwork: students must undertake 4 days of fieldwork as part of this course
