KUNGSMARKEN + “At the top of a turret stands Kungsmarken, imposing. Son of the million program, at the moment this district has gained of a bad stigma. 3 km from the Blekingë Tekniska Holskola, and 5.3 km from the center of Trossö, this peripheral neighborhood is a clear example of the dormitory city, designed on the model of automobile mobility, and with little entertainment for residents. This fact is noted with the lack of services on low floors occupied by parking bicycles, and some community service, or small grocery store.
TROSSÖ
With regard to the population, around 2400 inhabitants (2010), of several ethnic groups, students, refugees, and military. The average age is around 39 years old, and the average income is around 12,515 kr / month. “
1. ISOLATION
2. DISUSE
3. EXPANSION
The existing project does not have a good dialogue with the environment, because of the way it was projected, it constitutes a barrier with itself and the surroundings.
Between the belt that surrounds the top where is Kungsmarken and the inner courtyard, the project is surrounded by green.
This diversification of uses, must help create a community feeling now diminished by the misuse of public space.
The interior courtyard is of more than considerable dimensions, in this are recreational facilities such as recreational areas for children and a community football track, despite this great space being underused and offers little variety of activities according to all the neighbors.
As a starting point, the central space where the football field was located is now colonizing, as a set of nodes that on the ground floor offer recreational and community uses, to be chosen by the community, depending on the needs. These nodes are on the upper floors of houses for new residents, both short and long stay.
The upper road gives access to the homes and the car parks. In this same street there are also bus stops, but we note that given the size of the building the distances to travel are very long, whether in the public transport movement - housing, facilities - housing, or between homes. So the first strategy is to make shortcuts.
The second strategy will be to diversify the entertainment of the neighborhood, in order to offer more entertainment to all neighbors.
The upper band is also colonized in order to regulate access to the new project
