Initial Pullover Hoodie Sketches
Blackout
Fashion Designs - Hoodie IdeaWhile studying at Penn State, a pullover hoodie was an essential piece of clothing for a college student. The following design is my own interpretation of a pullover hoodie. At the front of the hoodie, the Nike logo begins at the upper right shoulder and ends at the bottom band. The pouch wraps around to the back of the hoodie, where there is a Nike Wordmark and swoosh. Additionally, the design incorporates three black tones that compliment one another. These black tones are accented with white stitched dashes and lines which allows for each element to emerge.

Rose Bowl
The Rose Bowl is a celebration of the beginning of a new year. This years Rose Bowl game features Penn State as one of the teams playing in this annual tradition. The following hat design commemorates Penn State's journey to the Rose Bowl during the 2022-2023 football season. Inspiration was taken from previous Rose Bowl and Penn State apparel designs.

Rose Bowl Logo Adaptation

The Penn State Athletics logo is front and center with a rose protruding through the logo. This gives the illusion of the Nittany Lion viciously biting the rose hence, the rose petals falling into obscurity. Below that is the vintage Penn State Wordmark which embraces the football program's storied history. The back of the hat features the adaptation of the Rose Bowl logo with the initials '23 to indicate this year's game. One side of the hat has a design that combines both the Rose Bowl logo and the Nike swoosh. The design celebrates the history and tradition of Penn State, the Rose Bowl, and Nike.

Initial Beanie Sketches
In recent years, beanies have become more of a fashionable accessory to wear during all seasons of the year. The following designs have two very unique takes on what a beanie can look like. Whether it's through a variety of colors, shapes, or patterns each beanie celebrates its own individual concept.

Enlightened Beanie

The intent of this beanie is to represent the idea of enlightenment. The exterior of the beanie is a caramel brown that transitions to a vibrant majestic milky white interior. The Nike logo is stitched and wraps around the entire beanie to help signify movement.

Camo Beanie
This design reinterprets the use of camouflage on products. The inspiration for the camo look is the use of "splattered" paint. The splattered paint comes in a variety of earth tones that are set on top of a light gray fabric. Additionally, the reinvented tag in the middle of the beanie pays homage to older and disregarded Nike products.

T-shirts are a daily essential article of clothing that everyone wears. When designing this t-shirt, I took inspiration from various time periods in Penn State's history in order to create a unique design. Overall, this fresh take on a Nike/Penn State collaboration is one that both alumni and students would be proud to wear.

Reinterpret
Fashion Designs - Jogger IdeaThe following design is a reinterpretation of a jogger. This design is one that uses the Nike swoosh as not only an accented aesthetic element, but as functional pockets in the front and back of the jogger. The embroidered line is front and center of the pants to emphasize the vertical nature of the jogger.
