That is an increase of $1 from the $6.80 that was slated to be in the status quo budget. We have a ways to go to bring the amount up to the state average ($47 per capita); however, this is a step in the right direction. Please take the time to thank the supervisors who voted for this increase and encourage them to continue to support our libraries. Together, we have made a difference.
