Project Summary or Scope of Work: The Digital Product Specialist in Native Content will work closely with both the programming and sales department to help CMG reach their 1.2 million dollar social & content budget ($300,000 native budget) by identifying native content opportunities for clients and the station. This DPS will become an expert on current content product offerings as well as the fulfillment process. They will become client-facing, will assist Media Consultants in the field with the sale, help fulfill, and answer questions about our process/capabilities. The DPS will represent the best interests of both our CMG brands and our client’s business goals. Key Responsibilities: Study our brand content guidelines and closely align them with our stations’ and clients’ business objectives Master our stations’ and sales team’s programs/software (CMS, Nativo) and accurately communicate capabilities Work with our sales team to identify potential sales opportunities that align with our CMG brands’ and clients’ needs Identify creative ways to help us reach our revenue goal & our clients’ goals (i.e. enhancing our station sites, innovating with content offerings) Work with the programming team to enhance abilities to match station talent (on-air personalities) with client needs
Performance Objectives: Work with our programming team to foster relationships and native programs that help increase our stations’ and clients’ brand awareness/credibility Identify ways to improve our stations’ and clients’ digital content Clearly lay out capabilities/help CMG Atlanta grow revenue & flawlessly deliver
Key Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal/written), Microsoft Office Suite, Web development (WordPress; custom CMS experience is a plus), Social media: Facebook, Twitter, etc, (ad/publishing/reporting tool experience, i.e. Ads Manager, SocialFlow, SproutSocial is a plus)

Deliverables/Milestones: Master our project management software, understand the fulfillment process and know how to work in our CMS by month 3 Identify native opportunities, pitch with sales & help increase sales by month 6 Continuously work with our team to execute & report on native content programs
Digital Strategy Alignment - How will this position drive results for your department’s digital initiatives & align with CMG’s Digital Strategy? Through working with both the sales and programming team, the Digital Product Specialist in Native Content will help our sales team reach revenue goals without jeopardizing the credibility of our brands’ voice. This person will look for ways that our clients’ can help bolster our brands (instead of focusing solely on how our brands can help our clients). Through being the voice of both departments, this person will be able to ensure we meet our current revenue goals through bringing in new business and foster future revenue through being fiercely protective of our CMG brands.
