Early Childhood Care & Education

The Early Childhood Care and Education program emphasizes

Start. Degree graduates have qualifications to be employed in

a combination of early childhood care and education theory

Georgia Pre-K programs and elementary school paraprofessional

and practical application, as well as limited general core

positions. The Child Development Demonstration Center

competencies necessary for successful employment. Diploma

provides an outlet for students to get experience. The Center is

graduates have qualifications to be employed in early care

accredited by the National Association of the Education of Young

Adult Education

The Adult Education Program is designed for adults who need assistance with basic academic skills. Offering flexible program hours to work with your busy schedule, this program also includes adult basic education and GED® preparation, the Adult Education Program offers workplace literacy programs, English Literacy (ELP), family literacy, job readiness and life skills classes. Adult Education provides these services:

Athletics at Albany Tech Albany Technical College Titans and Lady Titans hit the courts every November. As part of the Georgia Collegiate Athletics Association (GCAA), all home games are played at nearby Albany State University HPER Gymnasium. Admission is free to students.
