Hello A.C.C. Family, I hope that all our Dads out there have their plans to take care of Mom this weekend, and hopefully that involves bringing her out to the Club for an amazing brunch! No dishes, no cooking, just good food and company!

At the last Board of Directors meeting a policy that has been in effect for almost a year was reviewed. Last year through the work of Membership Committee and the Board of Directors, a policy was crafted and approved that created a one year waiting period for resigning members to come back and use the Club as a guest.

This policy was created for two main reasons. The first was to have a reason for someone to stop and carefully consider a resignation so that a “knee jerk reaction” to something would allow for time to calm down and perhaps allow our staff to work through and correct any issues at hand. The second reason was to preserve the value of your membership. We saw many instances where guest policies were manipulated to try and allow for greater participation by former members in a manner consistent with what a member would do.

The Board and I recently received some feedback from members that this policy was too restrictive and asked that it be reviewed. The Membership Committee presented a significant change to the policy which the Board of Directors approved. a significant change to the policy.

The changes as they relate to a resigned member are as follows: • •

The Club still requires a 30 day notice of resignation Upon resignation there is a 90 Day waiting period before a resigned member may return to the Club as a guest within the guest policy at a specific amenity of the Club. (There is not a universal guest policy, as each venue or amenity functions very differently from the rest.) There are some exceptions to this 90 Day Waiting Period, and they are as follows: o A resigned member may attend a specially promoted “Guest Day Event” o Multi­day golf or racquet sport events o Any charity event held at the Club (i.e. Mulligans for MS) o Any business or private event held at the Club (i.e. a wedding or Chamber of Commerce event) o Extenuating circumstances with General Manager approval in advance of the event or occasion

Following the 90 Day Wait period, the resigned member would then be able to enjoy the Club as a guest of a current member within the boundaries of the guest policy.

While it is understood that Membership is not permanent, it is always the hope that it is long term, important in its place in a member’s life, and something that is valued. Much like you own your house or business and you do certain things to protect that value, your Club is no different. It is a goal of the Board of Directors in our Strategic Plan that all our members would see themselves as owners of the Club and support utilization that preserves membership value and encourages friends to join or stay versus simply enjoying the Club without contributing.

Many of our committees are in the process of reviewing their guest policies this month, as we head into the busy season of summer. It is the goal to balance the value of membership I spoke of above but also understand that brining your guests is a large part of the value and allowing them to share in a great club experience. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about this or any other guest policy at the Club.

Hello Piranhas and Parents, We have finally locked down the practice schedule for the entire season.

Practice will begin Tuesday, May 31st and go from 4­6. Practice will remain Monday­Friday 4­6 until the end of the season. **However, starting June 20th we will begin having 2 practice times. We will have a morning practice from 9­10 and then our usual afternoon practice from 4­6. This will remain throughout the season.

Afternoon practices will be all team members from 4­5. The 5­6 hour will have an emphasis on specific skill sets such as stroke/form, turns, starts, and anything else your summer May want more practice on. This hour will be floating. This means that if your swimmer only needs a couple repetitions in order to feel comfortable, feel free to leave early. If your swimmer needs more individualized help, feel free to have them stay for the full hour.

I am really looking forward to getting the season started and having a very successful year. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I will reply in the evening’s once I’m home and settled. It’s getting to­ wards the end of the school year and volleyball is still in season, and things are becoming a little hectic. So thank you for your patience!

MUST MAKE RESERVATION at least 48­hrs in advance for non potty­ trained and at least 24­hrs in advance for all other children.

If you must cancel, we require a 24­hour notice. Members will be charged 100% of the fee for no­shows and cancelling less than the 24­hour notice unless you fill the slot.

Reservations may be made up to one­week in advance only and you must make a dining reservation when making your Kids’ Club reservation.

Reservations MUST be made by 1946 Grill Dining App, or by calling Jenn Handwerk @ 336­584­0345.

Dear Friends, Morning Kids Club is so much fun! We will continue to have morning Kids Club till May 26th. My favorite season is coming, Spring! We will continue to have dramatic play but will add hands on science and concept of print. This fun is for any age, 6months to 5 years old. PLEASE Register on the ACC website for each day and the cost is $20.00 per morning. You have to register to come by the day before!
