Dr. Januari S. Lewis, a graduate of Skyline High School,earnedherDoctorofPharmacydegreefrom XavierUniversityCollegeofPharmacyin2000.She laterservedasaninauguralboardmemberforUNT’s HealthScienceCenter,BaylorScott&WhiteHealth andWellnessCenter,BoardPresidentoftheAmerican Diabetes Association (North Texas), and District ManagerofPharmacyOperations(Walgreens).

In2018,sheleveragedherextensiveexperiencetoscaleherexistingevent management company into a full-service strategic consulting agency. OxiJan, LLC, advises companies on staff training, multi-unit operational standardization, and consults small businesses on business, financial,andmarketingfundamentals.

EarlyinPatricia'scareeraftercollege,shelearnedthe importance of maintaining integrity in business and buildingstrongrelationships.Patriciahasover35years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and corporate taxes. Her previous role as a CFO/HR Manager enabled her to help business owners successfullyrunandoperatetheirbusinesses.

Today,Patriciaworkswithpersonalclientswhoaresmallbusinessowners. Additionally, as a woman entrepreneur, Patricia is in partnership with other tax preparation companies, collaborating to help the community achievefinancialindependence.

OnJanuary4,2025,MotorcyclistofDallas(MOB)organizationdonated$400toAlphaXi OmegaChapters’CHIPPprogram,aidingthefightagainstchildhoodhungerintheDallas community.Thissupportwillhelpprovidemorenutritiousmealstochildreninneed, showcasingthepowerofcommunitypartnerships.

TheCHIPPmissionthrivesondonationsofmoney,food, andtime Eachcontributionhelpsbringhopetoachild andpeaceofmindtotheirfamily.Thisinitiativeupliftsthe entirecommunity,demonstratestochildrenthattheyare valued,andrelievessomeoftheburdensfacedby strugglingfamilies.With67dedicatedmembers,CHIPPis makingaprofoundandlastingimpact.

The month of March is designated as Self-Harm Awareness Month and March 1st is Self-Injury

Awareness Day. While great efforts are being made to fight the stigma associated with mental illness, selfharm, a common symptom associated with mental illness, is difficult to address. Self-harm is not typically a suicide attempt but can increase the risk because of the emotional distress that triggers self-injury.
