Regional Director’s Note Greetings Sorors! It is hard to believe that 2022 is here, and we are nearing the end of the Excellence administration. What we have achieved as a sorority and as a region during these unprecedented times is nothing short of remarkable. As COVID-19 is still a very real part of our everyday lives, we continue to adapt the ways in which we serve and conduct sorority business. I appreciate all that you continue to do on behalf of those we serve. It is always exciting to see your creative service programs, both in-person and virtual, and the ways you have remained connected through sisterly relations activities. From Founders’ Day celebrations to the MLK Day of Service, you have continued to make me proud. Mid-Atlantic shows up and shows out Marvelously each and every year. Plans for the 69th Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference are wrapping up, and I can’t wait to see so many of you in Hampton, Virginia. If you are registered to attend, please be sure to review the preconference COVID-19 requirements and protocols to ensure that we remain safe and in compliance with convention center mandates. Finally sorors, thank you for sharing your Soror Accomplishments news. It is always exciting to read about the great things our sorors are doing professionally and other ways they are serving the community. Leadership is not limited to Alpha Kappa Alpha, and I am so proud of the tremendous work our sorors continue to do for others. Thank you for all that you do every day. We all have been tested and stretched to go above and beyond over the last two years. Let’s make the last five months of this administration a truly marvelous experience, continuing to do “a new thing” and make an IMPACT. In service,
