Initiative to convert diesel operated RTGs to Electrified RTGs (E-RTG) started in 2012

Busbar system or Electrified Block (EBlock is required to operate E-RTG

From 2012 until 2022, PTP successfully converted 198 blocks to EBlocks

The recent completed project in 2022 is the 8 EBlocks projects consist of Block 2E, 2F, 3E, 3F, 4E, 4F, 5E and 5F

Additional 13 E-Blocks consist of Block 1 (Row A to L) and Block 2 (Row A & B) currently in progress of installation and scheduled to be completed in Q4 2023

By end of 2023, 211 blocks converted to e-block

Based on this figure, diesel consumption was reduced around 90% with the conversion of D-RTG to E-RTG. This contributes to huge carbon emission reduction for Scope 1 GHG from RTG
