From the Desk of Jeff Krejdl As we enter the last half of our fiscal year, our unwavering dedication to serving our customers and optimizing operational efficiency to stay competitive in today's volatile market is yielding significant results. Through the many challenges affecting our operations today, one recurring theme stands out - the resilience of the Cooperative business model. I firmly believe that Ag Valley Coop and the entire cooperative system were established to withstand the economic, financial, and social pressures of our time. The seven cooperative principles that are the foundation of our business model, particularly Principle #5 Education, Training, and Information, Principle #6 - Cooperation Among Cooperatives, and Principle #7 - Concern For Community, are directly addressing the pressures we face today. As we continually assess the impact on our operations, please remember that you are an integral part of a Cooperative system uniquely designed to navigate challenges like these. Our collective strength is our greatest asset, and Ag Valley Co-op is committed to assisting you through these trials. Harvest continues to move along, and compared to last year, we are in a much better position. While we recognize that this may not hold true for every corner of our trade territory, it undoubtedly bodes well for our Cooperative as we move into the coming year. If you've had the chance to pass through Edison or Maywood, you've likely noticed the considerable progress made by construction crews on those projects. I am excited for those new facilities to become operational. Our new facility in Jennings, KS, has received positive feedback, and we look forward to further strengthening our partnerships in that region. Now is the time to consider your seed and crop input needs for next year. If you have not already been contacted by one of our agronomy team members, they will be around to visit with you about what your options are for locking in some of those needs for next year. If you happen to miss their visit, please do not hesitate to give any of our locations a call, and they can put you in touch with our Agronomy department. In conclusion, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for your ongoing support. We recognize that our success depends on your trust and business, and our entire team deeply appreciates the opportunity to assist you in your farming operations. While we may not be perfect, our daily goal is to enhance the efficiency of your operations. I would welcome the opportunity to visit with you, so please give me a call or stop in Edison and let me know what we can do to help make that happen. Thank you,

Thanks,

Harvest Update The 2023 harvest, is well underway. As a company, we received a total of 4,759,310 bushels of soybeans. Because of the heat and hail this summer, this represents a 12 percent decrease compared to the previous year. Our harvest of corn is currently almost half complete for us. A total of 23.5 million bushels is what we anticipate across the company. Although there has been a rise in the total amount of milo, we have about 12% more than the crop in 2022. This year, we anticipate getting 1.6 million bushels of milo. Left: Farmers engage in conversation while waiting to be dumped at the Edison Grain Facility.
