Saige Tetgman, a senior at Southern Valley Schools partipated in a workbased learning program in partnership with Southern Valley Schools and Ag Valley Co-op. The goal of the work-based program is to help students get into the job force and learn about responsibilities. Saige worked every Friday during the fall semester and some Saturdays in Edison helping with the scale. This opportunity gave Saige the opportunity to experience on the job training. Saige said, "The best part about working at Ag Valley Co-op is the new opportunities and I enjoy working with new people. I also got to see another side of harvest that I have not been able to see yet as a farm kid." Saige plans on attending Fort Hays State University or Southeast Community College next fall. She plans to major in Agriculture Business.
