From the CEO, Jeff Krejdl I want to start by saying that my thoughts and prayers are with you, your families, friends, neighbors, and all producers who the fires have impacted over the last couple of weeks. The success of Ag Valley Co-op depends on you and all of our members and owners. Having over 80,000 acres burn right through the middle of our trade territory will negatively affect everyone and add additional challenges to what was already shaping up to be a challenging year. As I think about how Ag Valley Co-op can help in a situation like this, I keep coming back to the strengths of the cooperative business model and the reasons Ag Valley Cooperative was formed. Our voices and resources are stronger together than they are individually. Ag Valley Co-op is in the perfect position to advocate for you and the rest of our members as we figure out how to move forward. As you begin the recovery process, questions or needs will arise. If you find yourself in a position where you need some help or guidance or wish you had some answers on how to move forward, please reach out to me or any of your Ag Valley representatives. We may not have the answers, but we can leverage the expertise available to us throughout the cooperative system to get you the answers or help you need. The Nebraska Cooperative Council is also working for you and advocating for you at the state and federal levels. I am happy to pass along your thoughts and requests to Rocky Weber as he works with the various agencies on how to best get you the assistance you need. Please reach out to me with any thoughts or ideas that will aid in the recovery process. I know this is not what anyone had in mind for the 2022 growing season. While it has been a rough couple of weeks, I am confident that with your resilience, some help from all of the resources that we have available to us, and a little help from Mother Nature, we will recover from this and do what we do best…. feed the world! I appreciate your support of Ag Valley Co-op. Your success is our success, and we will continue to work hard every day to make sure you are successful. Thank you,

Jeff Krejdl
