“The Starfish and the Spider: The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organizations” - by Ori Brafman and Rod A. Beckstrom This book offers examples of leaders who while working independently of one another have achieved significant accomplishments. The title contrasts the difference with the appendages of the spider and the starfish, using this as an analogy. If the leg is cut from a spider, it will die. If the starfish loses a leg, it grows a new one and the leg could develop into a new starfish.
